EvoPlay Reflects on 2021 and Looks Forward to 2022

It is easy to forget that Evoplay is still a very young iGaming company. However, despite launching in 2017, the firm has just enjoyed its best year yet. The innovative casino games development company has broken a bunch of growth records, earned industry nominations, and has even won a few awards! Understandably, the company wants to celebrate such a successful 12 months and did so by posting a review of its 2021 performance.

The first thing that surprised us was that Evoplay developed 42 new titles during 2021. That is a very impressive figure, as it means an average of 3.5 new slots each month. Pragmatic Play, known as one of the most prolific developers, averages 5 per month, so they’re not that far behind a huge development company.

Of the new slots released, popular titles include Bloody Brilliant, Cycle of Luck, Anubis Moon, Dungeon Immortal Evil, and Neon Shapes. While most titles were video slots, Evoplay also developed table games such as European Roulette and Baccarat, and instant wins games, including Penalty Shootout and Book of Keno.

A Change of Name and Industry Awards

The year started with Evoplay undergoing a major rebranding, as its name changed from Evoplay Entertainment to Evoplay. Not a significant change, but understandable all the same. They’re not the first to shorten its name and will not be the last. Just look at BetGames (BetGamesTV), and Evolution (Evolution Gaming) as examples.

The company also received notable nominations from major industry awards. What is better than getting recognised by your industry? Evoplay scooped the Innovation in Marketing at the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards 2021 in recognition of its rebranding, while the CEO, Ivan Kravchuk, was voted Leader of the Year at the 2021 SBC Awards. The company also earned 4 nominations at the EGR B2B awards but narrowly missed out on winning them.

Company Growth Was Immense!

We measure success in many ways, but there is no arguing against the fact that Evoplay had a sensational year concerning the numbers. In short, the company enjoyed 317% GGR (gross gaming revenue) growth, 258% in revenue growth, 280% in rounds growth, and 211% in bet sum growth. Plus, thanks to partnerships with major brands, including MerdianBet and EveryMatrix, the brand saw 212% growth in B2B deals compared to 2020. As you can see, the growth within Evoplay has been immense throughout 2021, so it’s understandable that the company feels fit to celebrate!
