EGR B2B Awards 2022 Winners–SOFTSWISS, Playtech, NetEnt and Red Tiger Winners

The EGR B2B Award 2022 winners’ results are in. This year’s event was held yesterday with another night in London at The Brewery.

This time around Covid restrictions had little effect so the organisers were able to dish out all the awards in a single evening. Hence, we have the entire iGaming winner’s list ready and waiting below. This is a far cry from last year’s EGR B2B 2021 Awards ceremony, which was held over 2 days to spread out the numbers.

Let’s take a look at some of the results of the night, and they do not disappoint. Well, that depends on who you were rooting for. My two favourite slot developers who both made it as finalists this year didn’t win awards in their categories. Namely, Wazdan, a finalist for the ‘Mobile supplier’, ‘Employer of the year’, and ‘Innovation in slot provision’. Meanwhile, BGaming was also a finalist for the ‘Innovation in slot provision’ award. Despite not winning their categories, the fact both make it so frequently as finalists to almost every major iGaming awards event shows just how good their game’s portfolios and delivery platforms are.

Highlights from EGR 2022 Announced Award Winners’:

NetEnt & Red Tiger: It’s the second time NetEnt and Red Tiger have won an award together. Last year, the pair swooped the ‘Innovation in Slot Provision’ award, while this year the duo has picked up the EGR B2B ‘Slot Supplier’ of the year. It’s the second accolade this year for NetEnt within the major iGaming awards circuit since the brand also won the GGA 2022 Product Launch of the Year with the release of Gordon Ramsey Hell’s Kitchen.

Vivo Gaming: A shock winner worth mentioning over in the live casino vertical was Vivo Gaming. The brand quite recently acquired its MGA licence tool down the ‘Live Casino Supplier’ of the year award. Now, why is that a shock? Vivo Gaming is a formidable brand. Well, it’s because over the previous 12 years consecutively, Evolution won this award at the EGR B2B ceremonies.

SOFTSWISS: I cannot say I am surprised about this one at all. In fact, I called it. SOFTSWISS won the ‘Aggregator platform’ of the year award adding to its recent ‘Best Online Casino Provider In The Nordics’ award at the Scandinavian Gaming Awards (BSG Awards) 2022. Adding to this, the brand won the ‘Best Customer Service Company of the Year’ award in the EGR B2B 2021 event. Pragmatic Play: If you know the iGaming industry well, then you would have bet money on Pragmatic Play picking up honours in this event. Already the IGA 2022 ‘Live Casino of the Year’ and GGA 2022 ‘Online Casino Supplier of the Year winner, the company picked up another 2 awards here at the EGR B2B 2022 awards – ‘Bingo Supplier of the year’ and ‘Casino software supplier of the year’.

Sports Betting: There were also plenty of sports betting awards. Sportradar notably won 3 awards—‘Best customer service’, ‘Sports data supplier’ and ‘Live streaming supplier’. Kambi also took down 3 awards—‘Innovation in sports betting software’, ‘Sportsbook platform supplier’, and ‘Sports betting supplier’ of the year awards.

What’s next for the award’s circuit? Next up is the iGB Live! 2022 event in Amsterdam, SPiCE Sri Lanka 2022, SBC Summit North America 2022, G2E Asia 2022, Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2022 in Las Vegas and then another huge EGR event when the EGR Operator Awards 2022 comes around in October this year.
