The Slotfather is making its second return to the BetSoft games portfolio as the BetSoft Q2 roadmap announces the third version of this slot game is on its way.
The 2010 slot Heist is also making a return to the reels in 2024. The original slot themed on a vault heist now has its second version, so its first sequel, which is due in Q2 this year. We also have Stampede and Caishen, with sequels on the way.
I’ve never made it a secret that BetSoft is one of my favourite brands since its first table games pre-2009, and online slot releases in 2009. Since the brand hit the iGaming scene all those years ago, I’ve always played BetSoft slots.
I have said it numerous times across many of my news reports when the brand’s name comes up. Hence, an email from the BetSoft team highlighting its Q2 Roadmap had my immediate attention.
It took me a couple of days to get around to putting it here on the Casinoplusbonus news pages.

I went full metal jacket on the Betsoft slots lists to highlight my passion for the brand. It’s a shame search engines like Google, Bing, or Yahoo don’t appreciate my efforts, but it is what it is. At the time, I remember thinking they were going to love this, but nope, they’re nowhere near the top 10 when searching for BetSoft slots!!!
What is the BetSoft software provider page about? It is the page for the BetSoft software provider overview. At the time, I included every slot released by BetSoft. I do need to update it as this page starts in 2009, the brand’s very first release, and ends in 2022, when I wrote the review. OK, so a note was made here – I need to update this sooooooon – it’s on my TO-DO list ladies and gents.

Okay. So enough babbling, and onto the reason you clicked to read this news. I hope you can tell I don’t cut to the chase on this one because I am excited about what’s coming, so here it is.

Heist Bank Rush Hold & Win Bonus Buy (BetSoft)
BetSoft loves a theme based on bank vault robberies. We had the original release of Heist in 2010, and now the follow-up is here. In the new Heist Bank Rush, Hold & Win Bonus Buy with expert hand robber Neil Quailand, the star of the slot, once again. The original slot came with 1-30 Paylines and Glass Cutter Bonus, Wild Multipliers, Scatter Multipliers, and a Vault Bonus. We will likely see many of these features return: the Hold & Win feature with 4 fixed jackpots and the bonus buy option.
There are plenty more slots by BetSoft covering heists. The 2019 Take the Bank slot was released in 2019 and is about to make a come back in Take the Vault Hold & Win Bonus Buy. Also released in 2010 was A Night in Paris, followed by the sequel Return to Paris in 2021. Both are also about heists, but in this mini-series, the action focuses on an art thief, a security guard, and the guard’s trusty dog. I am counting on a Hold & Win Bonus Buy version in future BetSoft quarterly game release road maps!

Stampede Gold Buy Bonus (BetSoft)
Stamepede is back. The original slot themed on the Safari in the Savanna is now coming back as a bonus buy game. Compared to the original there seem to be a few changes. The new slot comes with wilds that expand and multiply and symbol upgrades via Golden Elephants. There is no mention of a free spins again, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Artwork is due 2 May 2024, but I am sure there will be a demo slot way before that. My guess is, it will have a free spins game as the original release of Stampede came with Free Spins and Wild Multipliers, plus it has a gamble feature. The key addition looks to be the symbols upgrades.

Caishen God of Fortune Hold & Win Bonus Buy (BetSoft)
Another popular online slot title from BetSoft released in 2019 was Caishen’s Arrival. Themed on the orient and gold this slot came with features such as Red Tickets, Wild Reel Respins, Scatter Cash, and Free Spins. It’s huge number of features made it an instant hit, and lined the game up for a sequel which is now in the works for Q2 2024.
The sequel ‘Caishen God of Fortune’ will come with the Hold & Win feature which contains respins, multipliers, and the chance to win fixed jackpot wins. There is also a Bonus Buy. On the BetSoft roadmap it doesn’t mention any of the other feature. However, if we go by other sequels released with the Hold & Win feature, we can expect free spins, and scatter cash to return or similar features. As for wild respins, the sequel may not retain this feature because of the Hold & Win respins, but you never know!

The Slotfather Book of Wins Hold & Win Buy Bonus
The Mafia mobster-style theme is back for its third round on the reels. It is coming in as a book-themed gangster slot game. Free spins, plus Hold & Win respins with collect symbols and fixed jackpots, are a feature. On top of this, there is a bonus buy. I am waiting for this one, but I have to wait over 4 months!
The original 2009 release of Slotfather is one of my most memorable online slots from the BetSoft collection. Why? Because it was one of the first slot titles released and was my first experience playing on a BetSoft slot. It was the talk of the net and an instant hit. It had everything: Progressive Jackpot, Instant Wins, Mob Free Spins, Underboss Scatter, and a Bonus Game. Back then, I tell you, this was a state-of-the-art slot game and blew my mind away. This was when NetEnt and Microgaming ruled the slot market, and BetSoft came straight in with the stunning Slotfather in 2009.
In 2017, the sequel to The Slotftaher came with a Gangster Bonus, Big Boss Bonus, Free Spins, Wilds, Hold & Respin, and Gamble features. It also had a huge 18,666x your bet max win. Will the third edition of a BetSoft brand’s most popular slots retain these features? My guess is yes, most of them will be available.
