Another seven days have passed, and it’s yet another week where the biggest progressive jackpots have continued to grow! In fact, it is over a month since the last time one of these jackpots paid out. That was back in week 2 of February when one lucky punter walked away with a £6 million payday.
As per usual, in this weekly progressive jackpot report for March week 2, we will look at ten of the most lucrative jackpot networks to see if any have paid, how much they have grown, and whether now is a good time to start playing them.
Well, to cut a short story even shorter, none have paid out in the past week, but the majority are ripe for the picking. Most have grown larger than their average payouts and have remained unwon longer than their average payout frequency. This means that seven of the ten jackpot networks are worth investing in as they are now past the point of being due.
The biggest news is the £500k increase of the Mega Moolah jackpot, which remains the most popular of them all. It now sits at £7,387,600, which is already £1.3 million, bigger than the last jackpot won a month ago. It is still not the largest jackpot available, however, as that is currently the WowPot, which is about £7100k shy of £9 million. The latter and the Jackpot Giant (€6,350,430) progressive networks are the two that we would recommend you play for now.

What Progressive Jackpots are Not Quite Ready?
While a jackpot can payout at any time, we base our readiness to play on whether the jackpot has grown bigger than its average payout and has remained intact longer than average. There is just one jackpot that we would suggest avoiding for now and that is the Mega Moolah from Microgaming. This is purely because this was won a month ago which is about 2 weeks short of its average payout frequency, and it is about £300k shy of its average payout. Assuming the Mega Moolah remains unwon by the time of our next jackpot report, that is probably the best time to start playing it.
We also have several we would put in the ‘Maybe’ category. Both Mega Fortune and Hall of Gods from NetEnt are well past their due date in terms of payout frequency but both have some way to go before they have jackpots larger than the average won. The same goes for Major Millions (Microgaming) although this could be ripe within the next month.
