Our Jackpot Report for February Week 3

Our Weekly Jackpot Report for February Week 3 reveals no new winners but the WowPot now has a jackpot of over £8 million! (Image by Tumisu at pixabay.com)

It has been a week since we reported in our last report about that emphatic £6,078,876 progressive jackpot win on Mega Moolah, and although two big payouts in a row would be nice, there is no such news in this week’s report!

None of the major progressive jackpots have been won, which is both good and bad news in equal measure. A fellow slots player has not got rich this week (bad) but the eventual winner will get even richer (good) as the jackpots have instead grown in size.

As you know by now, in this report, we cover all the major progressive networks such as Microgaming’s WowPot and Mega Moolah networks, and the more popular local progressives such as NetEnt’s Mega Fortune, Hall of Gods, and Arabian Nights. We keep you updated on the size of each current jackpot, how long it is since they paid, and whether historical data suggests whether they are due to payout.

Well, most of them fall into the ‘ripe’ category except for the Mega Moolah, which was won and reset as per our last report. That jackpot has grown a further £600,000 this week and now sits at £5,552,880. A couple million more and it is close to its average payout amount and, once again, worth playing.

Fun Facts: Mega Moolah was the first online progressive jackpot video slot. It was launched in 2009 and has since set many records for the biggest single jackpot wins online. It also stands out from many other slots of its kind, as the amount staked per spin does not determine a player’s eligibility to win the top jackpot. Many other jackpot slots require a certain bet amount to enable a player to qualify for the Mega/Top Jackpot.

WowPot Edging Closer to £10 Million

With no wins to report on, the biggest news we can bring you from our jackpot report for February week 3 is that the WowPot (also run by Microgaming), has grown about £200,000 and is now worth over £8 million for one future winner. That £200k is small in comparison to the £600k increase witnessed in the Mega Moolah jackpot, which suggests the Mega Moolah remains the most popular progressive network. This is despite the WowPot having a starting seed of £2 million, double the £1 million of Mega Moolah.

Jackpot Giant from Playtech currently has the second-largest jackpot at €6,309,128. Now is a good time to play that title, as that jackpot sits at well over the average winning amount of €4,956,001 and it has not paid out in nearly three years!

To finish up, take a look at the following table, as you will see all the information regarding each of the jackpots. You can see how long since each has paid out, the average winning amount, and how big the jackpots are right now.
