SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2022 Winners – European, UK & Australian Brands Mop Up

Yet another major awards event is done, and we have more winners to announce for the SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2022. It is the final SBC awards ceremony of 2022. However, it’s not the final SBC event of the year as we still have the SBC Charity Boxing coming up at the London Hilton Park Lane on 11 November.

As for the SBC Awards Latinoamérica winners, the event produced mostly winners from popular brands in Europe, the UK and Australia. And taking down one of these awards is no small feat. This event was chock-a-block with some of the best operators and suppliers from around the globe.

In fact, I reel off a few brands on the original SBC Latinoamérica shortlist that didn’t win just to give you an idea of just how competitive this even is. Playtech, Wazdan, Rush Street Interactive, Stake.com, Amusnet Interactive (formerly EGT Interactive), Ainsworth Interactive, Ezugi, TVBET and many more.

Remaining awards for 2022: To polish off the year, we still have the SiGMA Europe Awards 2022, Gaming Intelligence Latin America Awards 2022, and Global Regulatory Awards Awards will all conclude this November. The next big event in 2023 is ICE London in February.

Notable SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2022 Winners

• Pragmatic Play (Bingo & Lottery Supplier): This is the seventeenth award I have counted for Pragmatic Play this year. The brand was up for four awards at this year’s event and took home the ‘Bingo & Lottery Supplier’ accolade.
• Aristocrat (Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product): One of the biggest Australian online casino and land-based casino developers took down the ‘Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product’ of the year award, while the company just missed out on the ‘Casino & iGaming Supplier’ award to Swedish live casino game developer Evolution.
• SoftSwiss (Rising Star in Sports Betting): The leading online casino aggregator SOFTSWISS also has a sports betting aggregator platform. It’s new in the LatAm region and has unsurprisingly quickly gained notoriety, hence the Austrian-born company was nominated for five awards. In the end, the SOFTSWISS team walked away with the ‘Rising Star in Sports Betting’ award.
• Entain (Socially Responsible Operator): UK London Stock Exchange (LSE) listed Entain is a serial award-winning brand, and most notably takes down accolades for its social responsibility across numerous events. Its platforms offer responsible gambling tools, and underage gambling prevention checks, plus the brand undertakes a careful approach to advertising, earning it the ‘Socially Responsible Operator’ award in the operator category.
• Evolution (2 Awards): The live casino platform wins as many awards as Entain and Pragmatic Play, two of the highest-achieving brands in iGaming when it comes to accolades. The company also owns Digiwheel, Ezugi, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, Nolinit City and Big Time Gaming (BTG), some of the most impressive iGaming software development studios on the global online gambling scene. As a result, in this year’s SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2022 event, the company won two of the most sought-after honours. The ‘Casino & iGaming Supplier’ of the year and the ‘Industry Innovation Supplier’ of the year awards.
• Digitain (eSports Supplier): Yet another coveted UK online casino and sports betting operator was also in the running for multiple awards. In the end, thanks to its excellence in data, platform provision, sponsorship, and multiple eSports game coverage, the company deservedly won the ‘eSports Supplier’ of the year award.
