New Progressive Jackpot network

Pragmatic Play has finally released a way to win a progressive jackpot via a new Progressive Jackpot network tool available to all operators. (Image courtesy of pragmaticplay.com)

Jackpot Play is a new Pragmatic Play progressive jackpot network tool that clubs together its top titles into a pool of slots with big wins paid out randomly to lucky winners.

In fact, if you have ever taken part in the software provider’s Drops & Wins promotion, then the concept is similar to how players win playing slots as part of this promo.

The concept is simple:

(a) Choose a slot that is part of the jackpot network

(b) spin the reels using real money bets

(c) hope for the best because a jackpot win could land on your lap at random on any spin

Like the Drops & Wins promo that pays out cash prizes to players playing Drops & Wins designated slot titles, jackpot players can equally land a random jackpot. The key difference is the jackpot prizes will be far more lucrative and less frequent versus the Drops & Wins concept.

Another award-winning concept: If you check out the Pragmatic Play bonus guide here, you will see an awards section packed with accolades. Is Pragmatic Play looking for a casino innovation award with its new Jackpot Play mechanic?

How to Win the Pragmatic Play Progressive Jackpot

Winning the jackpot is no easy feat, as with all jackpots. The only way to stand a chance to drop in one of these big wins is to follow the simple concept – ‘Be in it to win it’. Every time you spin the reels on one of the ‘Jackpot Play’ networked slots, you have a shot at one of the jackpots.

Here are the jackpots on offer:

  • Minor
  • Major
  • Mega
  • Grand

The bonus jackpot game will trigger at ransom, taking you to a 4×3 grid. To decide which of the above 4 jackpots the player wins, the player chooses from a selection of gems to reveal the winning jackpot.

Jackpot Games & Wins: According to the official Pragmatic Play news report, games such as Big Bass Bonanza™, Gates of Olympus™, Sweet Bonanza™, Sugar Rush™, and The Dog House™ will be part of the Jackpot Play network, but the company did reveal jackpot sizes or seeds as of yet.

What Happened to the Wolf Gold Power Jackpot Slot?

Now it depends on how often you read the news here at Casino Plus Bonus. If you are a regular reader, you may remember we released news covering a Pragmatic Play progressive jackpot slot.

That was the Wolf Gold Power online slot with a progressive jackpot that would share 50% to the winner and 50% with all other players playing the game at the time. However, soon after we reviewed it, the slot disappeared never to return to the Pragmatic Play games portfolio.

I can’t tell you what happened there in all honesty. It looked like it was ready to go. And it would have been the software provider’s first progressive jackpot game. The only reason I can think of as to why it disappeared is maybe it clashed with Playtech’s Everybody’s Jackpot live casino game. This also has the same 50% to the winner and 50% to all other players’ progressive jackpot concept.

What made this slot disappear? Was it a Playtech patent on shared jackpots? Or was there another reason? Please let us know in the comments if you know why Wolf Gold Power never came to fruition.
