Let’s give a newcomer a chance! It seems to be one of the band names once again making vibrations on the iGaming newswires, so why not take a look? It turns out this slot is a masterclass when considering this is a brand-new software provider, and so it makes it into this week’s top 5 online slots.

Although the full brand name is a little lengthy, I think that needs to change – here it is – Supremeland Gaming Studio’s Powderkeg Studios. Not sure what is going on there!

The slot uses a 3-4-4-4-3 and 576 ways-to-win. It’s not a bad way to get going with your debut release. Great graphics, done without going over the top. It almost reminds me of BGaming’s approach but with different branding. And look at BGaming now – one of the best slot developers online.

As for the gameplay and features, let’s look at what the Munition Mine slot game offers!

• Stacked Dwarf Symbol: The Dwarf pays 0.24x, 2x, 3x, or 4x your bet when 2, 3, 4 or 5 symbols line up, making it the highest-paying combination on the Munition Mine slot games. It is also stacked on the reels 2, 3 or 4 high.
• Wild: This symbol is clearly visible as it has ‘WILD’ written across it. It is the wild card for all regular symbols.
• Free Spins: Land the ‘Chest BONUS’ scatter 3, 4 or 5 times anywhere on the reels to trigger 8, 10 or 14 free spins, respectively.
• Munition Mine Feature: The’ Munition Mine Feature’ will trigger if you land 1 or multiple ‘Powderkeg’ or ‘Gold Vein’ symbols during the base game or free spins. New reels will come into action with blank spaces. The triggering ‘Powderkeg’ or ‘Gold Vein’ symbols remain locked, and only these symbols will roll on the reels during the feature. As the new reels spin, any new ‘Powderkeg’ or ‘Gold Vein’ symbols that land will remain in place.
• Gold Vein (with multipliers): This symbol is only available on reels 2, 3, and 4 in the base game and free spins. • Powerderkeg: This symbol is only available on reels 2, 3, and 4 in the base game and free spins. Its job is to upgrade the multipliers on any of the ‘Gold Vein’ symbols it lands next to. The multiplier upgrade is random. There are 36 multipliers!
• 500x Diamond: Once a ‘Gold Vein’ is worth 500x, it becomes a Diamond. This is its max multiplier value.
  
• How does the Munition Mine Feature Begin and end? It begins with 3 spins. Each time a new ‘Powerderkeg’ or ‘Gold Vein’ hits the reels, it will stick, and the spins will reset to 3. The feature ends if there are 3 consecutive spins with neither of these symbols landing. The Minition Mine online slot will then accumulate all multipliers and apply this to your total spin bet up to a max win of 10,000x your bet.

I’m not yet sure which online casinos are available with this slot. I had to use a slot demo site to test it out – this was on the SlotMatirx Powerderkeg Studios page. Regarding the slot’s gameplay, it’s great once you understand what each symbol does. The paytable isn’t very clear on instructions. Also, the 0.50 per spin I am OK with, but this might put budget players off playing this slot. I’m unsure about the RTP, as SlotMatrix gave several different variants. The paytable says 94.56% from 10 billion spins on the demo slot version I played. However, the range of RTPs provided was 96.49%, 95.21%, 94,56%, and 88.25%. Also, the game is available in Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania and the UK.

So why put this in our top 5? It is a great game, and we are giving a newcomer to the industry a chance to shine! And once you get used to the features, it is a fun slot game!
