We’re now into the festive month, ladies and gentlemen. That means we can expect a plethora of Christmas-themed online slots and other casino games to come our way.

There were some major releases this week, which made it even harder than usual to pick out our top 5 new slots of the week. Among those that made the list week is a new Mega Moolah progressive jackpot slot, a Christmas edition of the award-winning Sugar Rush, and sequels to Reactoonz and Bonanza.  Check out the review of the each of our top 5 below!

• Book of Mega Moolah Goddess™ (Games Global)

Another progressive jackpot slot has hit the Mega Moolah collection. For those not in the know, this network of slots links to 4 jackpots. And this time, it is based on the famous book theme. That means expanding the symbol with free spins and a scatter/wild, as we have traditionally seen with most book slot titles.

• Tumble Feature: After every spin with winning symbol combinations, the winning combinations will be paid out, after which all the symbols involved in the win will explode and disappear. Wazdan has brought back another timeless classic, Black Horse, in a new and improved version – Black Horse Cash Out Edition. The new release features a fresh look with even bigger win opportunities than the original.

Black Horse™ Cash Out Edition features a 5×3 reel layout with 20 fixed paylines. There is a 96.12% RTP, and the win variance is adjustable from medium to very high. The many bonus features include Cash Out, Jackpots, Sticky Cash Out Symbols, a Gamble Feature, and Increased Chance Levels.

• Cash Out Feature: The main feature of this Black Horse edition is the Cash Out feature. With this feature, cash-out symbols may appear on the reels, and when they do, they will accumulate all the values from the cash and jackpot symbols. The total accumulated value will then be paid out.
• Sticky Cash Out: There are also sticky cash-out symbols that may appear at random. When one of these appears, it will lock into place for a certain amount of spins before becoming active. The cashout symbol will be active for 1 to 5 spins, all cash and jackpot symbol values will be added together, and the total will be paid out of the end of the sticky feature.
• Cash and Jackpot Symbols: Both cash and jackpot symbols will appear on the reels, but their values will only be paid when combined with a cash out symbol. Cash symbols have multipliers that range from 1x to 10x the bet. Jackpot symbols include a minor (20x), major (50x), and mega (100x) jackpot.
• Grand Jackpot: The grand jackpot is a massive 2,500x multiplier on the current bet, and it is triggered when 15 cash and/or jackpot symbols have landed during a spin.
• Chance Level: Different levels of the Chance Level feature can be activated. The levels are 2x, 4x, 8x, and 12x. Depending on the level you select, it will increase your bet by that multiplier and increase your chances of triggering jackpots by that same number.
• Gamble Feature: At the end of a winning spin, players can gamble their winnings for a chance to win even bigger, but at the risk of losing it all.

The Gargantoonz slot game features a 7×7 reel layout that operates with cluster pay mechanics. There is an RTP of 96.20% and a high win variance. To reach the 7,000x max payout, you will need the help of some of the many bonus features like Wilds, Fluctuation, Discharge, Experiments, and Gargantoon.

• Cascading Feature: The cascading feature comes into play when a winning combination has been made. That combination will pay out, after which all the winning symbols will disappear, leaving empty spaces in the slot. Symbols will drop down to fill these spaces, and new symbols will fill in from above to complete the reels. The symbols are then analysed again, and new wins are paid. This will continue until no further wins are made.

• Fluctuation: One of the lower-value symbols will be selected at the start of a spin. If that symbol is involved in a win, 1 or 2 Wilds will appear where the fluctuating symbol was.
• Discharges: On any non-winning spin, 4 to 8 Wilds can be randomly added to the grid.
• Experiment Charger: The charger is charged up by landing winning clusters. 20 symbols are needed to fill up the charger, after which one of the experiments will be selected. If one experiment is successful, you will continue to the next experiment.
• Experiments: The 3 experiments are Gamma Ray Burst, Black Hole, and Supernova. These will add wild symbols to the grid and other bonus features.
• Gargantoon Charger: Every successful experiment will charge the Gargantoon Charger. By filling out the Gargantoon Charger, you will trigger the Gargantoon Bonus round.
• Gargantoon: During this 3-stage bonus game, you will have mega wild symbols available with added multipliers.

The Bonanza Falls slot game by Big Time Gaming is a sequel to the original game, Bonanza. The biggest upgrade, along with a new look, is the Megadozer Mechanics.

Bonanza Falls has 6 reels, with each reel containing as many as 7 rows. This is a Megaways slot game with 117,649 ways to win. The RTP is 96.51%, and the win variance is high. • Carts: Above the middle 4 reels there will appear a cart containing one of the symbols. This symbol gets added to the reel below it for that spin only. Carts do not appear during the Free Spins round.
• Reactions: The Reaction feature, also known as cascading, will remove all winning symbols after their payouts have been paid. These gaps are then filled by symbols dropping down into the spaces and new symbols dropping in from above. Reactions continue until there are no more wins in the round.
• Free Spins: Free Spins are awarded when 4 Scatter symbols land on the screen. During the Free Spins round, every additional Scatter that lands will add 4 more free spins to the round.
