It’s that time of the year when awards ceremonies roll out one after the other. CasinoBeats just finished its awards and the EGR B2B 2021 awards held in London have also ended while there are numerous expos and iGaming awards going on around the world. Meanwhile, we also have the IGA (International Gaming Awards) to look forward to in an event labelled with the dress code as ‘Black Tie’ in which the top iGaming brands will be vying for bragging rights by picking up a prestigious IGA award.
All IGA 2021 nominees are now officially announced, and the big guns selected for the 30 categories in action this year will battle it out for votes on 8 September 2021 at none other than London’s high-end West End Savoy Hotel on the Strand – ‘oy oy saveloy’ – between 18:30 – 1:00. Anyone interested in the iGaming scene is welcome to attend if you are interested in splashing out a minimum of £600 + VAT to attend, which includes welcome Champagne, dinner with half a bottle of wine, the awards ceremony of course, and entertainment.
And if you are not familiar with London, then just check out the Monopoly board where the Strand is one of the game board’s most valuable properties. It seems that the IGA big wigs have certainly splashed out for the occasion as functions rooms here cost a small fortune. That said, although the IGA has gone for a high-end location, the focus of this event is high-end brands and boy oh boy do we have some special awards and prestigious brands in the running this year.
What’s in store: 30 awards are to be dished out over the course of the 6 and a half hour event in which big brand names such as SoftSwiss with 4 ward nominees, Microgaming, LeoVegas Gaming Group, BetConstruct, Relax Gaming, and a whole host of other big names on the iGaming scene.
