Dubbed the ‘The premier awards in the Italian online gaming market,’ the EGR Italy Awards 2024 put on yet another excellent awards ceremony on 16 October 2024 in Rome Cavalieri, Italy.
Now, why are we so interested in an award event that doesn’t include any of the geos we create iGaming content for here on Casinoplusbonus?
The iGaming market has hundreds of software providers and operators and thousands of casinos and sports betting platforms. While that may be the case, you will see many of the same sports betting and casino companies operating in different countries, as is the case with Italy.
For example, in this latest edition of the 2024 EGR Italy Awards event, we saw a number of brands that also supply online casinos or operate in the UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and India – the six main geos Casinoplusbonus targets.
For us, seeing how these brands are performing in other countries is always interesting. For example, Playtech, Zillion Games, Playson, Play’n GO, AMUSNET, 888casino and PayPal all won awards in Italy last week.
Although we don’t have a dedicated review for the Playson or Zillion Games software providers, we mention these brands often either in casino reviews or on our real money online casino promotions page. Therefore, we decided that as the EGR Awards body is a trustworthy awarding body and that the brands as mentioned above all won awards at this event, the EGR Italy Awards event is newsworthy!
