It is another new iGaming and sports betting event we can add to the current list of EGR Awards.
The latest addition of the EGR Europe awards, as you have probably guessed by the name, focuses purely on brands that operate in the European gambling markets.
In particular awards cover the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Nordics and Baltics, the Balkans and Southern Europe, Western Europe, as well as the Central and Easter Europe markets.
It is an excellent addition to our leading EGR Gambling Awards guide, in which we cover the EGR Operators, EGR B2B, EGR Italy, EGR North America, EGR Nordics, and EGR Marketing & Innovation.
What’s more, we get to see multiple operator awards in a single event. Some of the award-winning brands mentioned in this year’s 2025 EGR Europe winners list, we’ve reviewed here on Casinoplusbonus. To be more specific GG.Bet and Casumo online casinos.
Both casinos cover Western Europe, which would fall under the scope of the United Kingdom (UKGC licensing framework) and Ireland via the (MGA licensing framework), two European countries we cover here on Casinoplusbonus as per our English language homepage.

Our Overall Opinion of the EGR Europe Awards 2025
It’s great to see the EGR awards put on a new event that focuses explicitly on Europe.
In past events, European brands generally have to go up against gambling companies across the globe in the EGR Operators and EGR B2B awards. And although the EGR has focused on the Nordics, other regions such as the UK and Ireland, plus the rest of Western Europe, and Central and Eastern Europe have had to compete for awards on a global scale on the EGR circuit.
Overall, we are happy to see the EGR awards events grow in diversity, and long may it continue.
