We are back with another round-up covering the latest iGaming casino company management and sports betting execs, CEOs and other managerial appointments announced in the gambling industry this month.

There are some big-name individuals within the gambling industry moving to different companies and changing positions. On top of this, there we regularly see known execs and managers from non-gambling sectors bring their experience into casino and sports betting companies. Today the latest casino company management appointments covered include BGaming (one of the top online casino software providers in iGaming), Merkur (another top casino game development company), and an update on Canada’s Ontario regulatory authority CEO’s impending departure.

BGaming Brings in Ulf Norder as Chief Commercial Officer

Now rated as one of the top slot development gambling companies in the crypto-sphere across Malta Gambling Authority and Curacao online casino site, BGaming is growing. Its latest development in top management positions is the appointment of a new Chief Commercial Officer Ulf Norder. BGaming also holds licensing in Spain, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Greece and Bulgaria. Mr. Norder will focus on growth in these key markets, while also driving success across the MGA and Curacao online casino arena.

His experience in iGaming spans over 20 years. He has been a part of big-name brands such as the NYX slot developer, SG Digital and Evolution. In his previous roles, he gained a reputation for building strong relationships with clients, and BGaming will look to take advantage of his prowess to expand the company’s reach across global iGaming markets.

Irina Ruf Now Managing Director International at Merkur

Ms, Ruf joined the company to replace Stefan Bruns. She will oversee the Merkur casino and sports betting verticals. Her role requires her to bring growth and secure new business in the current international online gambling markets the company operates. Her previous role with the company was as Executive Operations Director International, and she has 15 years of service to date.

CEO of Alcohol & Gaming Commission Ontario, Canada to Step Down

Big news coming out of the real money online casino Canada Ontario market as the CEO of AGCO will step down from his role as CEO. The regulatory authority is now on the search for a replacement, which needs to appoint before the Fall (Autumn) of this year.

He joined the regulatory authority in 2006 and was a key part of bringing new iGaming licensing to Ontario without disrupting players’ choices. Ontario players do not have to play at an AGCO-licensed online casino giving them freedom of choice. However, the ingenious rules apply to software providers means game developers cannot offer their games to Ontario citizens via non-AGCO licensed casinos. These rules have helped the provincial iGaming market become a success.

Soft2Bet Casino Aggregator Appoints New General Council

David Yatom joins the aggregator’s council in order to help the casino company’s platform solutions stay on the ball with the latest regulatory and compliance changes across global markets.

Yatom is set to join Soft2Bet, bringing with him a wealth of experience as both a private and in-house legal specialist. With a comprehensive background in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law, along with a deep understanding of the online gaming sector, Atom is poised to become a valuable member of the Soft2Bet team. Previously, he held the position of General Counsel at SBTech and later became the Senior Director of Legal at DraftKings after significantly contributing to the business combination agreement between Diamond Eagle Acquisition and DraftKings.

In his role as General Counsel at Soft2Bet, Atom will lead the company’s legal and compliance efforts while furthering the organization’s expansion strategy, focusing on existing and emerging regulatory markets. Additionally, he will play a crucial part in shaping Soft2Bet’s corporate and commercial direction.

  • Health Lottery (United Kingdom): Lebby Eyres becomes CEO after Des Duffy steps away
  • Suzohapp (Sweden & Global): Shauna Reeves has become the new Inside Sales Representative, while the company has a new OEM Gaming Sales Executive – Charles Harris.
  • MGM (USA): Ben Winston is now a part of the company’s Board of Directors.
  • Codere Online: After the company hits over $49m in losses, Moshe Edree CEO has been replaced by Aviv Sher who is stepping up from COO.
  • Pariplay (Gibraltar + Global): Alexandar Petrovich moves over from Mansion to Pariplay (NeoGames) as the new VP of operations.
  • Scout Gaming (Sweden & Global): Niklas Jönsson is now the new CEO.
  • Casumo (Malta + Global): Francesco Postiglione is now the new chief exec for the online casino brand.
