The second day of the EGR B2B 2021 is now settled concluding this year’s event which ran over the course of 2 days. Along the way, there were both expected and unexpected winners taking down prestigious awards covering the online iGaming and Sports Betting arenas.
Day 1 of the EGR B2B Awards 2021 saw noteworthy brands Red Tiger, NetEnt, and Evolution takedown iGaming awards, while most of yesterday’s awards covered the sports betting sector in which Kambi stood out thanks to a double win picking up the best ‘In-Play Betting Software’ and ‘Sports Betting Supplier’ of year awards.
It was also a day to celebrate in the payments awards sphere for MuchBetter as it won the ‘Innovation in Payments Solutions’ section for the second year running.

For the online casino sector, Day 2 was the big one! Multiple well-known iGaming brand names at the top of their game were shortlisted for categories covering areas such as live casino, software, video slot, mobile, poker, and casino games supply. Surprisingly, some of the biggest names in iGaming walked away from the 2-day event empty-handed.
Microgaming was up for 4 awards and did not win, while Pragmatic Play picked an incredible 11 shortlist nominations but like Microgaming came up short. Yggdrasil, iSoftBet, and Wazdan were also all in the running after being shortlisted in multiple categories, but surprisingly none of them could see of the competition! It is fair to say that from an iGaming point of view, this year’s event was all about Evolution. The brand owns NetEnt and Red Tiger which both picked up multiple awards while Evolution itself was also a double winner in this event.
Evolution’s 5 EGR B2B 2021 Victories: NetEnt and Red Tiger were up for 5 awards apiece and Evolution up for 2 awards in separate categories. NetEnt and Red Tiger took down a total of 3 awards which were 1 apiece as individual brands and 1 joint award while Evolution took 2 awards for both categories it was shortlisted!
Red Tiger Adds ‘Mobile Supplier’ of the Year Award!
On day 1, Red Tiger was jointly nominated with NetEnt in the ‘Innovation in Slot Provision’ award and won. However, in the ‘Mobile Supplier’ category, Red Tiger was up against its sister brand for bragging rights. And the brand fought off not only NetEnt but also Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Push Gaming, EGT Interactive, Pariplay, and 6 other big names to bring its final tally for the EGR B2B 2020 ceremony to 2 awards!
Fun Fact: At last year’s EGR B2B 2020 Red Tiger won the ‘Slot Supplier’, ‘Mobile Supplier’, ‘Mobile Gaming Software Supplier’, ‘Innovation In Mobile’, and ‘Innovation In Slot Provision’ of year awards!

NetEnt Wins ‘Mobile Gaming Software Supplier’ of the Year Award!
Adding to it Day 1 ‘Innovation in Slot Provision’ joint award with Red Tiger, day 2 saw NetEnt win the ‘Mobile Gaming Software Supplier’ of the year title. Red Tiger were the proud winners of this title in 2020 and so the award still goes to the same company but shift over to the NetEnt brand! NetEnt was also up for the ‘Slot Supplier’, ‘Casino Software Supplier’, and ‘Mobile Supplier’ awards on Day 2!
Fun Facts: Last year’s EGR BRB 2020 awards were disappointing for NetEnt after not winning any awards. This year’s double award win makes the victories that much sweeter for the brand!
1X2 Network Wins ‘Slot Supplier’ Award
A surprise winner took down the ‘Slot Supplier’ of the year award with the UK iGaming development brand winning on home turf – something England football fans will also be hoping for in the Euro 2020 competition being played a year late! 1×2 Network, also known as 1×2 Gaming, is a popular UK online casino brand, and won thanks to its wide variety of games, impressive growth, and faultless execution in a highly competitive iGaming market!
Fun Facts: The 1×2 Network took this award from right under the nose of Red Tiger which won the ‘Slot Supplier’ honours in 2020 while last year Relax Gaming won the ‘Casino Software Supplier’ award!
Evolution Takes Down the Live Casino Supplier Awards For the 12th Year!
It is now 12 years running since 2010 that the EGR B2B awards have given the ‘Live Casino Supplier’ of the year award to the Evolution brand! This year was full of tough competitors including BetGames.TV; the current titleholder for the SBC ‘Live Casino Supplier’ of the year, so this was no easy feat. The other contenders were BetConstruct, Ezugi (an Evolution brand), OneTouch, Playtech, Pragmatic Play, SA Gaming, and TVBET!
Fun facts: This is the first EGR B2B awards that Evolution entered with it new acquisitions Red Tiger and NetEnt. Evolution also won the ‘Innovation in RNG Casino Software’ on Day 1 of the EGR B2B 2021 event which is the first time the brand has picked up this award!
Playtech Wins the Aggregator Platform Award
Before we celebrate Playtech’s amazing achievement, one brand not on the shortlist for this year’s event was SoftSwiss! However, we are sure we will see them in next year’s awards as the platform just picked up an MGA license this year. And back to the highlight of this section, well, Playtech thoroughly deserves this award with the EGR B2B organisers stating the award goes to Playtech as it has shown its aggregator platform to be a market leader that continues to innovate while also continuing to add further dimensions to its diverse offering. Check out our Playtech casinos guide, and you will see exactly why the EGR B2B event organisers highlight ‘diversity’ as key to Playtech’s aggregator platform!
Fun Facts: Playtech was also highly commended in the Multi-channel supplier section which is won in the 2020 awards but this time gave way for Scientific Games. Also, at last year’s award Playtech won the ‘Bingo Supplier’ and ‘Poker Supplier’ awards both won by Relax Gaming in this year’s event!
Relax Gaming Wins 3 Awards on EGR B2B 2021 Day 2!
What an impressive year for Relax Gaming as the brand firmly stamps its authority on the iGaming sphere with 4 EGR B2B 2021 awards. It picked up 3 of those awards on day 2!
- Casino Software Supplier: Last year Relax Gaming won this award hands down and retains it for the second year running. The brand will surely be going for the triple win in 2022!
- Poker Supplier: Relax Gaming saw it poker network grow faster than any other with huge financial gains enabling the brand to prize away this ward from last year’s winner, Playtech!
- Innovation in Mobile: Last year Red Tiger took this award, but Relax Gaming stepped in for the 2021 event owing to its innovative mobile tournament tool and jackpots, as well as being a true disruptor in this sector of iGaming!
- Bingo Supplier: This award came on Day 1 of the event. Its Hexabingo brand has been a true success which allowed Relax Gaming to take this award away from last year’s winners Playtech!
Fun Fact: Relax Gaming only win a single award in the EGR B2B 2020, but this year found itself competing in 9 categories. The 5 the categories the brand did not win were ‘Innovation in RNG Casino Software’, ‘Aggregator Platform’, ‘Mobile Gaming Software Supplier’, ‘Mobile Supplier’, and ‘Slot Supplier’ of the year awards!
