The US Canada SBC Awards North America 2021 ceremony will kick into action during the SBC Summit North America trade show and conference in what will be an exciting 3-day event.
Canadian and American operators, suppliers, lotteries, iGaming brands, IT suppliers, payment services, and affiliates are eligible to compete for any of the 26 award categories. Nominations are now trickling in with a deadline for these nominations ending on 27 August 2021, with voters allowed to edit their submissions right until the last day. The SBC organisers have made a gentle reminder that only entries that have been submitted will be considered at the judging stage.
SBC, who is the event’s organisers, was delighted to announce that industry winners for each category will be announced on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 in Manhattan, New York City – The Big Apple! The awards recognise and reward industry operators, suppliers and affiliates from across the United States and Canada, and the SBC bigwigs believe will complement the three-day trade show and conference event nicely, and who are we to disagree. A roadshow of sorts along with an award ceremony all wrapped into one, what a day for Canadian and US gambling companies and fans.
Of course, carefully vetted industry expert judges will make up the independent panel. Each category will only comprise operators, lotteries, suppliers, iGaming brands, and affiliates who are currently working in either the Canadian or US market as no other North American countries are currently eligible.
A Word From The SBC Founder and CEO
SBC Founder and CEO, Rasmus Sojmark, has recently stated in a press report how he believes that legal sports gambling across North America has grown phenomenally over the course of the last three years. He also recognised the iGaming industry thriving during the same period. He is of the opinion that these successes need to be officially recognised in the form of an awards ceremony, as a way to honour an individual’s achievements.
He highlighted the awards will recognise businesses from both ends of the industry’s spectrum, as adventurous start-ups are just as important as experienced, long-standing industry members; with this years SBC Awards celebrating the best that the industry has in the region.
SBC London Will Take Place At a Similar Time
SBC find itself with a busy schedule during the fourth quarter, with two more award ceremonies also scheduled for around the same period with one in Miami and the other held in London.
- Latinoamerica: SBC has made an announcement that October 28th will mark the very first SBC Awards, Latinoamerica, which will be held in Miami.
- London: 800 guests will gather in the Evolution London venue, in London, on December 14th, for the 8th SBC Awards, which recognises the industry globally.
