It seems we have a new iGaming awards event to cover each week at the moment and so it has been proven once again. The SPiCE India Eventus Awards 2023 took place on the evening of the 3rd of March, the last day of the SPiCE India 2023 iGaming conference.

Once again, the event was held in Goa, India, and it attracted many of the iGaming industry’s most recognisable brands. Many of those were up for nominations themselves and were attending to take advantage of the many networking opportunities available to them.

At the 4th edition of the event, there were 10 award categories spanning various areas of the iGaming industry. The Eventus Awards recognised the platforms, operators, and affiliates that have demonstrated their excellence in the ever-expanding iGaming market in India.

Endorphina Wins Best Platform Provider of the Year

There were some big-name brands that walked home with awards. Endorphina, a slot development company that won the Rising Star in Online Casino Technology at the 2022 CEEG wards and earned a nomination for the 2023 SiGMA Game Provider of the Year award, arguably walked away with the most prestigious.

The popular iGaming developer that recently released the Blue Slot reviewed in our New Casino Games March (Week 10) report, was awarded the Eventus 2023 Best Platform Provider of the Year. That is another feather in the cap for an iGaming firm that has really come on in leaps and bounds in recent years.

SA Gaming and BetConstruct Among Other 2023 SPiCE Eventus Award Winners

As mentioned, there were 10 categories in total but they included awards for other verticals such as poker, eSports, and Skill Games. As our main focus is online casino gaming, we will discuss some of the other brands in that vertical that earned an award for delivering continued excellence in the Indian iGaming market in 2023.

BetConstruct and SA Gaming were the two other big award winners from the online casino side of things. BetConstruct took down the Technology Provider of the Year Award while SA Gaming took down the Developer of the Year Award. The latter has always targeted the Asia and India regions with its range of entertaining live casino games, so this was no surprise. The firm has also come off the back of a couple of years that delivered other industry awards. In fact, SA Gaming has won the Australia/Asia Focused Technology Supplier of the Year two years running at the 2022 and 2023 IGA Awards.

What’s coming next regarding iGaming awards and events?

Well, with SPiCE India now done and dusted, that means there have been 5 major iGaming events in 2023 so far. This event followed the International Gaming Awards (IGA), Global Gaming Awards (GGA), European Gaming Awards (EGA), and the EKG Slot Awards. However, there’s still so much more to come this year. In March alone, we will still have the SiGMA Eurasia to look forward to. There is then a slight break until June when we have 2 EGR events and the Brazilian iGaming Summit. After those, there are still another 10 events happening later in the year including the SBC Summit Barcelona, Global Gaming Expo, Global Regulatory Awards, and the EGR Operator Awards.
