SiGMA Awards 2023 Breaks Charity Raising Records
While giving acclaim to the best of the best in the iGaming industry was the primary aim of the SiGMA Eurasia Awards, there were other reasons to attend as well. The biggest of those was to take part in a charity fundraising event that took place as part of the ceremony. Artwork donated by artists including Tommy Zegan and Derek Mason was sold off to the highest bidders with all proceeds going to charity. By the end of the night, €242,600 had been raised making it a record at a SiGMA event.
Keep up with the latest iGaming industry events: The 2023 SiGMA Eurasia expo is the latest industry event ticked off. However, there is so much more to come throughout 2023. Spribe, Jeton, and Galaxsys Among the Winners
Turning our attention back to the awards ceremony, there were 23 categories in total spanning developers, operators, eSports, aggregators, affiliates, marketing agencies, payments, and more. Spribe took home the most notable developer-related award when the talented firm scooped the 2023 Game Provider of the Year. The company primarily focuses on the development of mobile-optimised ‘Turbo’ games that offer quick games and allow for more bets per hour. Aviator is its most successful title to date but Spribe has also released table-game-inspired titles including Mini Roulette, Dice, and Poker.
As for the Industry Rising Star of the Year, it was Galaxsys, another developer that creates games similar to that of Spribe. Crash and Penalty are two popular ‘Turbo’ games, while the firm also creates skill-based games such as Pasur, Backgammon, and Dominoes.
Jeton, a payment method popular in India and many other regions, also took down one of the night’s biggest awards. Coming out ahead of some strong competition, the payment provider won the 2023 Online Payment Service Provider of the Year.
As for the other industry awards, you can catch these in the box accompanying this section. It includes the full list of iGaming companies and people that did enough to earn an award.
