$45 Million in Jackpots Waiting in our Jackpot Report Week 2 2023 – Plus, read about Grim the Splitter Dream Drop – yet another top jackpot slot from Relax Gaming! (Image Courtesy of relaxgaming.com)
We kicked off 2023 in true style in the first week of the year with a €6.7 million Mega Moolah progressive jackpot win. However, while it would have been nice to go on a roll, the second week did not bring anything too noteworthy.
We do at least have a brand new progressive jackpot slot to tell you about. Relax Gaming has been in overdrive since launching its Dream Drop network in March 2022. The leading iGaming development company launched 8 new video slots featuring the Dream Drop in 2022 and this latest release becomes the 9th.
Aside from taking a closer look at that title, we will also update you on the current status of the best progressive jackpot slots and networks. We will tell you about some of the smaller 5-figure wins that occurred during the week and will list which of the jackpots currently have the biggest sums waiting to be won.
We can tell you that our full list contains jackpots worth a combined $45 million, so if you’d like a piece of that, carry on reading to see which slots are offering life-changing sums of money.
Brand New Relax Gaming Jackpot Slot – Grim The Splitter Dream Drop
Although there are a ton of amazing progressive jackpot slots to enjoy, it never hurts to have another. Relax Gaming has been launching about 1 per month since March last year, so at least that means we always have something new to check out. The latest is a dark-themed slot called Grim the Splitter Dream Drop, a 5-reel, 3-row, and 25-payline title that has you playing cards against a rather unsavoury-looking character.
Aside from giving you the chance to win Relax Gaming’s Dream Drop Jackpot that could grow up to €10 million in the future, Grim the Splitter also offers a top local payout of 10,000x your stake. Plus, splitting wilds, and a free spins feature that regularly awards additional spins, also help to bring in some impressive payouts!
A Look Back at Last Week’s Report: If you missed it, do not forget to read our progressive jackpot report week 1 2023 we published last Friday. As mentioned, it has news of the year’s first major jackpot win worth €6,753,702.85!
Smaller Wins in Our Jackpot Report Week 2 2023
It is only in the progressive jackpot world that you will hear of 5-figure sums of money as relatively small. Of course, for many people, a 5-figure sum is a lot of money that can make a difference. Well, since our last report, there have been 19 5-figure jackpot payouts paid out totalling over €400,000. These come courtesy of smaller jackpots such as the Mega Moolah Major and Age of the Gods Super.
The latter is responsible for paying out €157,662 split across 7 different winners. As for the Mega Moolah, 5 players shared a total of €112,148. Other jackpot slots handing out payouts include Playtech’s Nian Nian You Yu Red (€51,396 total) and Jackpot Bells (€47,625 total), and Microgaming’s CashSplash (€32,592 total).
Notable Jackpot Wins Over the Past 7 Days
- AOTG Super Power (Playtech): €28,564 (13 Jan), €13,383 (11 Jan), €37,737 (10 Jan), €19,278 (9 Jan), €22,616 (8 Jan), €22,716 (7 Jan), €13,366 (6 Jan).
- Mega Moolah Mega (Microgaming): £10,240 (11 Jan), £11,362 (11 Jan), £22,095 (10 Jan), £35,220 (9 Jan), £33,231 (7 Jan).
- Nian Nian You Yu Red (Playtech): €10,278 (11 Jan), €41,118 (9 Jan).
- Jackpot Bells (Playtech): €11,242 (11 Jan), €10,858 (9 Jan), €25,525 (8 Jan).
- CashSplash (Microgaming): £12,458 (10 Jan), £20,134 (7 Jan).
Surprisingly, the number of wins and the total amount paid out across the smaller jackpots is down somewhat compared to our last report. However, that was boosted by a €200k payout from Real Time Gaming’s jackpot table games.

At £ 18,137,410, the WowPot is now edging closer to the Guinness Book of Records win of €19.4 million, which occurred on the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot in May 2021. Both operated by Microgaming/Games Global, they remain the two biggest networks in the industry. The WowPot is relatively new but the Mega Moolah, which you can read about on our Mega Moolah progressive jackpots page, has been around since 2006.
