A Mega Jackpot Win! Our Progressive Jackpot Report Week 1 2023 gives you news of a €6.7 million Mega Moolah win recorded yesterday! (Image by Igor Ovsyannykov at Pixabay.com)
What better way to start 2023 than with a big progressive jackpot payout in our first report of the year? That’s right, after a few barren weeks, we can tell you that someone somewhere is now €6,753,702.85 richer after scooping the legendary Mega Moolah jackpot.
What a way for anyone to kick off the year! With close to €7 million in the bank, that is more than enough to retire early, travel the world or do practically anything that you want.
That win was recorded on the popular Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah progressive slot – which is the also title in the series responsible for the Guinness Book of Records win of €19.4 million recorded in May 2021.
Anyhow, it is time to move on to the next stage of this jackpot report week 1 2023 where we show you the current status of the biggest progressive jackpots in the iGaming industry. Following that whopping payout, the Mega Moolah has dropped out of the top 3, but that is the only major change in the current rankings.
Rewind to last week: Why not take a look at the Progressive Jackpot Report Week 52 2023? We recapped some of the largest jackpot wins recorded throughout last year. The biggest was a £14.1 million payout from the WowPot Mega back in July.
Treasure Nile, RTG Table Games, and More Paid Out Recently
As ever, there were plenty of other significant payouts recorded since our last report. The best of the rest were wins of over €/$200k on the jackpot table games offered by RTG and Playtech’s Nian Nian You Yu Yellow.
The Mega Moolah Major jackpot once again proved lucrative, as it paid out seven times for a total of £170k. The AOTG Super Power (207k) and Treasure Nile (£127k) were also amongst the biggest payers this time around.
Aside from the obvious Mega Moolah payout of close to €7 million, these figures are down somewhat compared to our last report. Understandably, online casino activity increases over the festive period. With people returning to normality, it was expected there would be fewer smaller jackpot wins.
