Online gambling is booming nowadays, and two major players just made big-time moves – Games Global and Microgaming. They scored flashy awards, snagged key purchases, and redesigned their websites.
Let’s look at Games Global first. This top online casino game maker grabbed three huge honors at the 2024 International Gaming Awards in London. They took home trophies for Slot Game Provider of the Year, Game Studio of the Year, and Game of the Year for their popular slot, Golden Fields.
And if that wasn’t enough, Games Global also closed a deal on February 1st to buy Digital Gaming Corporation’s business-to-business branch from Super Group.
The company now oversees over 40 different game development studios and 1,300 game titles. Many of these games are available through partner studios like Snowborn, Just for the Win, Gameburger, and more.
Meanwhile, Microgaming announced a makeover of both its main corporate site and ‘Play It Forward’ site. Launched way back in 1994, this company supplies the software running countless real money and free online casinos. Their refreshed websites sport a more modern, colorful look while holding onto their classic logo. Every day, Microgaming tech powers over 210 million bets placed around the world.
With these latest big moves, Games Global and Microgaming show they’re geared up to keep leading and innovating the online gambling biz for years ahead. Their bigger content libraries and website glow-ups cement their positions as top dogs.

The company also just closed the deal on buying Digital Gaming Corporation’s business-to-business division from Super Group on February 1st. They got all the necessary approvals.

Microgaming Gives Its Websites a Fresh New Look
Microgaming, a big player in creating online casino games and websites, just announced they’re sprucing up the look of their main corporate site and their “Play It Forward” site.
Launched in 1994, Microgaming supplies the software and tech behind tons of gambling websites around the world. They’re giving their sites an upgrade as the company kicks off its 4th decade in the biz. The redesign aims to showcase Microgaming’s history of constant change and innovation, while injecting a more modern, colorful style. Importantly though, their classic logo isn’t going anywhere.

Microgaming also touts their efforts around diversity and inclusion. The refresh incorporated major input from their team members. Right now, gambling companies worldwide rely on Microgaming’s software and platforms to process over 210 million bets per day. The website update signals that Microgaming is ready to keep innovating for years to come.
“We’re pumped to freshen up our visual brand while hanging on to our rich history,” said Alex Wilson, Microgaming’s Marketing Chief. “This reaffirms our spot as a top supplier of gambling tech across the globe.”
