Top 5 Video Slot Releases – 2024 Week 12 Update

It took us a while to decide which were the best new releases of the last week, simply because there were so many new slots launched. However, we always have to come to a decision, and this time we decided on Diamond of Jungle (BGaming), Brick Snake 2000 (NoLimit City), Big Burger Load it up with Xtra Cheese (Pragmatic Play), Ghost Father (Yggdrasil), and Totem Guardians Dream Drop (Relax Gaming).

Kicking off our top five this week is Pragmatic Play, a developer that most of you will know releases a staggering eight new slots every month! No other iGaming developer currently competes with those numbers.

In terms of this release, it automatically increased my appetite. It seems Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom went the extra mile when they created Big Burger Load it up with Xtra Cheese. • The Hot Dog Symbol: You can win a money award in the base game, whenever at least 3 (max 10) Hot Dog Symbols land on the reels. Here are the multipliers you can get depending on how many Hot Dog Symbols there are: 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x, and 1000x your total bet.
• Free Spins Feature: You can trigger 10 Free Spins with 3 Scatter Symbols on the reels. The wins are awarded for any adjacent symbol combinations, starting from the leftmost reel, instead of fixed paylines. Two symbols can appear during the round: the Expand and Pop symbols. You can also trigger 10 extra Free Spins if you land 3 Scatter Symbols again.
• The Expand Symbol: When it hits the reels for the first time, it will increase the size of the screen by 1 row horizontally. The second time it appears, it increases the screen size by 1 more row horizontally. The third time, the screen will increase by 1 reel vertically. After that, the Expand symbol turns into a Wild Symbol and substitutes for all other symbols except for Scatter and Pop symbols.
• Pop Symbol: After win combos are paid, one random symbol on the screen will be picked and a 0.5x total bet will be awarded for every symbol on the screen.
• Ketchup Bottle Feature: It can appear randomly and adds a 2x, 3x, or 5x multiplier to a random symbol on the reels (one catch, is the symbol has to be a part of a winning combo). The multiplier is applied to all winning combos containing the selected symbol.
• Mustard Bottle Feature: When you see this bottle on the screen, get ready for wins. Compared to the Ketchup Bottle, this one simply picks random symbols to create winning combos.
• Ante Bet: You can select the bet multiplier and depending on what you choose, the game will behave differently. If you choose a 10x bet multiplier, you’ll enjoy a normal play. If you choose a 15x bet multiplier, you have increased chances to get a respin and more Scatter symbols will land on the reels.
• Buy Free Spins: You can trigger this feature by paying 100x your total bet.

Unlike many other food-themed slots, Big Burger Load it up with Xtra Cheese looks good and pays out even better. You should check it out, especially if you’re a foodie. • Brick Snake 2000 (NoLimit City)

I’d imagine many of you were around when the original Snake game came pre-installed on old-style Nokia mobile phones back in the year 2000, and while it’s so dated today, I bet most of you have good memories of trying to complete it.

I have a confession to make, I was so obsessed with the Snake game that I was left feeling hollow inside when I finished it. And when I saw it in a modern, slot form, I couldn’t wait to try it out. NoLimit City is truly great for doing this and with an 8,110x max win, I was all in to try it out.

Brick Snake 2000 Features Explained

Let’s see what NoLimit City has been developing in this new slot:

• xWAYS Symbol: During the base game, this symbol can land anywhere on the reels, revealing one of the following paying symbols:2, 3, 4, 5, or 8110. If more appear at once, all will reveal the same symbol.
• Moving Wild Snek: This one lands anywhere on the reels during the base game and can move 1-5 steps in any direction. The Snek can’t go backward, but those positions will be transformed into Wilds. If the Snek symbols get on the xWAYS symbols, it will turn it into a Wild, the same size as the xWAYS.
• Scatter Symbols: You can trigger the Snek Spins with 3 or 4 Scatter symbols. If you land 5 of them, you can trigger Super Snek Spins.
• xBet: For an extra 5%, you can have a guaranteed Scatter Symbol on the second reel. During the base game, the bottom row will be disabled, and the Moving Wild Snek won’t be able to enter that row. However, the payouts are not affected.

Here’s a look at the Bonus Mode features:

• Snek: The only direction the Snek can’t move is backward. If there is more than one Snek on the reels, the oldest Snek is the first to move, all moving one at a time. Like the original version, if the Snek exits on one side, it will appear on the other. The Snek can disappear only after it eats itself or a Slayer symbol. The Bonus Mode spin will stop if the Snek eats itself or when all Sneks stop. The Bonus Mode is done when all the Sneks die.
• Coin: It has a default value of 1x to 5x, 10x, and 100x the active bet. When the Snek eats a coin, the coin value is added to the payout win.
• Multiplier: This one has values of 1 to 5 and 10. When a Snek eats a multiplier, the coin multiplier increases and gets applied to the default coin values.
• Egg: When a Snek eats an egg, a new Snek head will appear starting from the tail position. Only a maximum of 3 Sneks are allowed to be present simultaneously.
• Slayer: A sneak will die if it eats a Slayer, and only a maximum of 4 can be on the reels simultaneously.
• Upgrade: You can upgrade to Super Snek Spins (at the end of the round)if a Snek eats the UP symbol.
• Snek Spins: You can trigger it by landing 3 or 4 Scatter symbols, and a 3rd and 4th scatter also can convert into Sneks!
• Super Snek Spins: You can trigger it by landing 5 Scatter symbols on the reels. Moreover, the 3rd and 4th Scatter symbols will convert to Sneks.
• Collector 2000: This symbol adds the sum of all the visible coin values to its current value at the beginning of every spin. When a Snek symbol eats the Collector 2000 symbol, its value is added to the coin counter, and the win multiplier is multiplied by the value of the Collector 2000 symbol. However, if the Snek doesn’t eat the Collector 2000 symbol in 4 steps, the Collector 2000 symbol disappears for that spin but can show up in the next one.
• God Mode: You can trigger Max Win by buying a MAX symbol on reel 1 and a Win symbol on reel 5 for 1689x your bet.
• God Mode Deluxe: If your wallet is ready for it, you can buy the Max Win for 8,360x your bet, and you’ll get to try Double or Nothing. You have a 50/50 chance of either doubling your Max Win or losing it.
• Double or nothing: Once you hit the max payout of 8,110x your bet, you can choose between Yes (risk doubling the payout or losing it) or No(keeping the win.)

This slot really brought me down memory lane and the funny symbol memes hit the spot. I giggled a few times and even got some interesting payouts. All in all, it’s a decent slot and the features are well worth a few spins.

• Totem Guardians Dream Drop (Relax Gaming)

The latest enchanting slot comes from Relax Gaming and promises to provide mesmerising gameplay. • Free Spins: You can activate this feature by landing three bonus symbols. During the Free Spins rounds, the values of the Totem Multipliers are carried over from the main game and don’t change between the rounds. Although the symbols don’t pay out as much as other freshly released slots, the features and the 1,193 paylines pack quite the winning power. The Totem Multipliers can skyrocket your payout potential and the overall atmosphere of the slot is dreamy. It’s not my favourite in the series, that is a toss-up between Beelionaires Dream Drop, Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop, and Banana Town Dream Drop, but I did have a good time playing this slot and recommend all you jackpot hunters out there take it for a few spins at least.
