Pragmatic Play is back for yet another LatAm summit, this time in Mexico. You may be thinking this is not a South American outing for the brand, and you’d be right.
That being said, let’s clear one point up made by a couple of our readers. Mexico is a North American country, but its Spanish-speaking audience brings the country into the heavily targeted (by Pragmatic Play) LatAm region, which also includes a host of South American countries.
The LMG Summit, taking place from 13 to 15 September this year, is a chance for the brand to get its name out there in another LatAm country, If course, the software provider is looking to make just as good an impression as it has in places like Argentina and Brazil where its video slots, virtual sports, bingo, and live casino verticals are booming.
Akron Stadium, also known as Estadio Akron, in Guadalajara will host the LMG Summit Mexico. It is a stadium mostly known for football events, but also holds other sporting occasions as well as summits. And as the LMG Summit also includes sports betting, what better place to hold a gambling conference than the home of a Liga MX football/soccer side – C.D. Guadalajara?
Not only will Pragmatic Play be a platinum sponsor, but iGaming also award-winning executive and Vice President of Latin America Víctor Arias will be one of the panel speakers. He will share his knowledge and experience on how to navigate iGaming markets. His valuable insights into the LatAm market are priceless to providers looking to break into the market as Mr Arias’s industry insights come directly off the back of Pragmatic Play’s success in the region.
Víctor Arias Awards: The success of Mr Arias in the LatAm region is well documented. He won the CGS LatAm 2022 Best Gaming Executive LatAm at the same time pragmatic Play won the Best Content Provider LatAm award. He also won two awards at the Sagse Buenos Aires 2022—‘Top 5 online industry leader LatAm’ and Best LatAm executive of the year.
2022 Pragmatic Play Heavily Involved in LatAm Countries’ iGaming
Over the course of 2022, Pragmatic Play has attended similar events in Brazil and Argentina both of which boast the largest (Brazil – 213m population) and third largest (Argentina 45m population) iGaming markets in South America—the second largest market in South America is Columbia. In Brazil and Argentina, the software provider has already made a huge impression taking down three awards at the Sagse Buenos Aires 2022 and in Brazil, the Best Game Producer at the BIS Awards.
When it comes to the LatAm market as a whole, and we include Mexico, the country is then the second largest, with a population of 129 million. Just recently, the Pragmatic Play software provider also announced that its slots, live casino, and virtual sports verticals are now available in Mexico via InstaBet; a brand that also has operations in Brazil.
On top of all this, the Maltese game developer has also announced multiple partnerships across the LatAm region. In Argentina, the software provider already has five new partnerships tied down over 2022 and its live casino vertical is now approved for online casinos operating under the LOTBA, which is the Regulatory Entity of the city of Buenos Aires. I also count 10 partnership deals and extensions to existing deals across the Brazilian iGaming over the course of 2022.
Which LatAm Countries does Pragmatic Play Operate? In order of the size of each iGaming market, Pragmatic Play operates in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Paraguay, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. See the full Pragmatic Play LMG Summit news report here.
