iGaming Stocks Update 2023 - Issue 17

All 6 stocks covered in the latest Casinoplusbonus Gambling Share Prices 2023 – Issue 17 show yearly gains with LNW and ALL leading the way! (Image by Mohamed Hassan from Pixabay)

The month of August has proved to be a volatile month for the iGaming industry.

Most of the stocks covered in this report have dropped or experienced minimal gains, apart from Aristocrat and Light & Wonder.

These two companies continue to innovate and post above-average quarterly earnings.

ALL and LNW have solid, long-serving executive boards that appear ahead of the competition by executing profitable business/market strategies.

The rest of the industry seems to be going through an executive shake-up phase with fundamental personnel changes. One of the most prominent players in the market, 888 Holdings, will get a new CEO in October. The new appointments reflect a need to change fundamental company policies and strategic business plans under the new leadership, hoping to generate revenue and increase share price.

Other key company roles are constantly changing their team members to revamp different segments of their businesses. It is evident that the ever-changing executives in the iGaming industry are the only constant…

This week’s report will review the market movements of Playtech, Evolution, Aristocrat, Light & Wonder, 888 Holdings and Inspired Entertainment on their respective stock markets.

Playtech – (PTEC.L)

  • The iGaming giant is still suffering the fallout from issuing £257m of senior notes announcement at the end of June. The stock price has continued to drop and has lost another 4% since the last report. Investors are currently wondering if the stock has more upside, but is it a good time to buy at the present price? LNW finalized the acquisition of SciPlay last week, buying the remaining 17% equity in the company. Investors well received the 500m USD purchase as the share price jumped 9% since the announcement. This positive news is coupled with a solid Q2 earnings report released on August 9th. All financial metrics were up, and the most significant factor was the EPS consensus beat the estimates by 0.69 USD. Revenues were higher because of the exceptional sales of SciPlay and gaming machines, up 41%, because of an improvement in the U.S. market.
