After another impressive year for the iGaming industry, the Global Gaming Awards have come around once again, and now, we can reveal the biggest 2021 winners at the event held in London!

One of the most prestigious industry awards, the deserving winners, and the runners up, can all take pride in their performances during a tough pandemic-hit 2021!

Among those to scoop awards were Evolution, Red Tiger, and NetEnt. Though run close by the likes of Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Microgaming, Yggdrasil, Greentube, and BetGames.TV, it is difficult to argue against any of them deserving their awards. There are 14 categories of awards at the Global Gaming Awards including ‘Casino Product’, ‘Product Launch’, ‘Online Casino Provider’, ‘Chief Executive’, ‘Payment Provider’, and a selection of online betting awards. Obviously, as fans of online casinos, we will stick to the awards related to the online casino industry. You will notice some familiar names that are well known for their excellence.

The Global Gaming Awards was hosted once again in London. This is the ceremony that awards those that operate in the European online gambling industry. The GGA also holds another awards ceremony in Las Vegas, this time awarding those that operate in the American market. That ceremony is set for October 2021.

A Look at the 2021 Global Gaming Awards Winners!

One of the most anticipated awards is always the Best Online Casino Provider, but this year there were no surprises. Evolution, who alongside Microgaming, cleaned up at the EGR Awards earlier this year, once again scooped the award. This was for the second year in a row at the GGA, and it shows just how impressive this provider is. The firm beat Yggdrasil and Pragmatic Play into second and third place, respectively.

Plus, a couple of Evolution-owned companies were also on the receiving end of awards. Red Tiger, won the best Online Casino Product Award thanks to the company’s excellent Gonzo’s Quest Megaways video slot. Playtech, who just launched The Money Drop Live, was the runner up with their fantastic Adventures Beyond Wonderland live game show, while BetGames.TV came in third with their own live casino game, War of Bets.
