The transition from land-based to online gaming was both a significant challenge and one of our proudest achievements. It forced us to rethink everything — from our development pipeline to the skills we needed in our team. But it also opened the door to exciting innovation.
The online space evolves rapidly, and we’ve embraced that by committing to monthly game releases, experimenting with new mechanics, and developing fresh formats. While the pace is intense, our land-based heritage continues to inform our work. It provides us with a deep understanding of player psychology and engagement, which helps us create games that feel intuitive and exciting across both sectors.
- Many of your online slots, like ‘Mummyland Treasures’ and ‘Blast the Bass,’ feature bold characters and unique mechanics. What’s your creative process for developing a new game concept from scratch?

A major one. We’re very data-driven in our decision-making — not only looking at game performance but also listening carefully to what players and partners are telling us. We gather insights from our operator network, events like SBC and SiGMA, and even from the streaming community.

Rather than retrofitting existing games, we anticipate trends and build specific elements into new products from the ground up. That allows us to stay fresh while remaining a reliable and consistent supplier.
Regarding the cultural differences, for sure – each region has its flavor — Latin America responds well to high-volatility, emotionally charged gameplay. At the same time, Europe often favors layered mechanics and a strong narrative. In Asia, cultural symbolism plays a significant role. So localization isn’t just language — it’s about aesthetic choices, volatility profiles, soundtracks, and even the pace of play. Our goal is always to create games that feel native to their market while staying true to the Belatra brand.
- With crypto casinos and blockchain-based platforms growing in popularity, does Belatra plan to expand its presence in Web3 gaming or NFT-based game assets?
We’re already deeply involved in the crypto space. For example, our collaboration with BitStarz led to the development of BitStarz Treasures, a custom game built specifically for the crypto gaming community.
These partnerships provide us with an opportunity to explore blockchain’s potential in a practical setting. While NFTs are an exciting area, we’re currently focused on enriching gameplay for crypto audiences and expanding innovative collaborations with forward-thinking operators in the Web3 ecosystem.

We’re keeping our momentum strong, continuing with monthly game releases. A big highlight is the next title in the Mummy Multiverse, expanding the Mummyland Treasures universe with new gameplay and surprises.
You’ll also see us prominently featured at major industry events, such as SBC Lisbon and SiGMA Rome. For us, these events are not just about showcasing games — they’re about deepening partnerships and staying close to our global player base.

- Mummyland Treasures has become a major hit, and you’ve already expanded the franchise with new formats like Mummy’s Mines. Can we expect to see even more developments in the near future?
Absolutely. Mummyland Treasures marked the beginning of what we now call the Mummy Multiverse. With Mummy’s Mines, we expanded the concept, and the response was fantastic.
The next installment is already in development, and we’re taking the franchise in a new direction. It will feature plenty of surprises for both returning fans and new players. The Mummy universe is growing — and we’re just getting started.
