It has been interesting for top-level managers shaping the online gambling entertainment industry for the last few weeks. There are plenty of moves to report by companies you have likely heard of and maybe you haven’t.
As usual, in this bi-weekly report, the idea is to catch as many top-level management moves reported in the news and collate them into a bitesize report. It’s perfect for those who want to monitor the industry’s management shake-up business side closely.
With each news story so brief, you still get to spot the names you recognise and can then find out more by scouring the search engines for more information. That’s what I love about bite-size round-up news. You can read snippet headlines so you don’t miss out and can find out more.
Below there’s news covering positional changes at the ComeOn Group, LeoVegas, Relax Gaming, Aristocrat, the North Carolina Lottery, Zeal Network, SpiffBet and Million Games, Copybet, NeoGames, the removal of a CEO, and another new appointment at CTO.
The previous gambling company appointments news: For the last report covering 888 Holding’s new CEO, Novomatic’s Africa organisation reshuffle, Fanduel, Rank Group, and more hiring and firing gossip, head over to the New Gambling Company Appointments (July) report.
High Roller Brings in Former LeoVegas Head
Why would anyone want to leave a company as large and successful as LeoVagas, which currently operates under its parent company BetMGM? However, Sevn Kaltenegger must see something special in C-suite. And as the appointment comes via a link-up with CEO Idan Levy, the relationship between the two looks promising.
As for LeoVegas, the company is going from strength to strength. It’s now under BetMGM, which recently reported relatively promising financials for Q2 2023. And LeoVegas is now a game developer of sorts after acquiring Push Gaming.
LeoVegas is one of my top picks: If you are looking for a safe online casino with tons of games, the chance to become a million via LeoVegas jackpots, and you like to play bonuses with fair T&Cs and wagering requirements, then check it out on the best reputable online casino list.
Sebastian Foethke Steps into New Role at Novomatic
Another one of the biggest names in the business is reporting new moves. Just last week, the company made management shifts in Africa. Now a bit closer to home, the company has promoted Sebastian Foethke. His new responsibility covers the critical position of ‘Management Representative for Policy and Regulation’. Not an easy position to take on as Novomatic spans multiple jurisdictions in multiple verticals within the land-based and online casino gambling entertainment sectors.
Online Gambling: Novomatic is the parent company for brands such as Greentube, famous for the Book of Ra video slot. You can learn more about the software provider via the Novoline casino review.
Relax Gaming Brings On New CPO Shelley Hanna
A giant on the iGaming scene, easily thanks to its continuous release of top titles like Money Train and Dream Drop jackpots, Relax Gaming has a new Chief Product Officer. Her expertise spans casino aggregation solution providers and iGaming products making her a perfect fit for Relax Gaming.

Aristocrat and NeoGames Make New Moves in Management Positions
After having its eyes on Playtech for some time, Aristocrat has finally made its move after pulling out of the Playtech deal. It has now wisely purchased NeoGames. And in both sides of the business, there have been shifts in management over the past week.
- NeoGames: Robert Wesley will become the VP of North American customer development.
- Aristocrat: Ms Jennifer Aument is officially one of the company’s non-execs.

The sportsbook has signed the Premier League and Ireland International football player Shay Given to become its brand ambassador.
We recently saw William Hill do precisely the same by appointing Eric Cantona to represent its football betting side of the business.
