BGaming – Award nomination, artists hookups, partnerships and scratchcard
I’ll keep this one brief because Jack Bannon is already working on a full-scale BGaming software provider news update. This month, BGaming has also been busy spreading its games across Europe. Plus, the brand has released its first line of scratchcards.
Adding to BGaming’s presence in the iGaming news wires is the SIGMA 2023 European Gaming Awards, in which the Best Game Provider. The company teams up at the event with Marcamix, a local street artist in Malta, to add his stylish touch to BGaming game characters like Elvis Frog.
Slotegrator Aggregator Continues to Expand its Games Portfolio!
Like BGaming, Slotegrator was also up for a SIGMA 2023 European Gaming Awards nomination. It is currently in the running for Best Aggregator 2023. In the meantime, Synot Games brings 130+ slots, and the Avatarux software provider has also joined Slotegrator’s army of game developers.
BetMGM’s Partnership Extends to LeoVegas Job Advertisements
In the previous B2B Sports and Casino Partnerships News (13 October) update under the condensed B2B gambling company deals section, BetMGM and Newcastle announced a partnership deal. Now, it seems that deal also extends to LeoVegas, whereby the firm plans to create 50 new jobs in the UK’s Northeast. The players themselves are part of the job promotions. The players are asking people in the region to apply for the job openings.

Two Major Casinos Close Down

Playtech, OKTO, and Play’n GO Software Providers Pen New Deals
- Playtech/FanDuel: In a new live casino-orientated deal, Playtech will supply Fanduel’s Ontario, Canada, online casino with its portfolio of live dealer games. UK company Playtech will use its Riga and Latvia studios to deliver games to the US-born sports betting platform. It is another landmark deal for the live games developer with the second largest number of live dealer games online, just behind its competitor Evolution. Playtech is also an operator in the Ontario iGaming market after it invested $12.3m in NorthStar Gaming, the parent company of NorthStar Bets—the full Ontario casino online lists here on the main Casinoplusbonus Casino Canada page.
- Light & Wonder/SciPlay: Light & Wonder now owns the SciPlay Corporation 100% after the NASDAQ-listed gambling company paid $420 million. The transaction has been hailed as a strategic move, especially given that both companies posted record-breaking revenues in the first two quarters of 2023. SciPlay is also a NASDAQ-listed gambling company but will delist from the exchange. Matt Wilson, CEO of Light & Wonder, said the idea will strengthen both firms’ cross-platform reach.
- OKTO/Flexia Payments: OKTO has acquired the digital payments company Flexia Payments. The deal makes OKTO one of the North American gaming market’s largest digital payment service providers. The merger aims to digitalise gaming and non-gaming customer experiences through cashless and omnichannel payment solutions. Flexia’s technology impressively integrates casino and online wagering accounts, alongside loyalty programs, into a single digital payment platform.
Pragmatic Play’s Latin American Strategy Continues its Regular Contribution to CasinoPlusBonus Partnership News
- Pragmatic Play/Peru: In the game developer’s third deal in Peru, Pragmatic Play has expanded its partnership with Doradobet. This extends the previous deal between the operator and software provider that brought online slots and live dealer games to the popular Peruvian casino entertainment platform.
- Pragmatic Play (SBC Summit Latinoamérica): The software provider will attend the SBC Summit Latinoamérica with exhibits on stands G40 and H40. The event will occur on 31 October 2023 in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Miami.
2023 Awards: Pragmatic Play has netted the SBC 2023 ‘Casino/Slots Developer of the Year’, Global Gaming Awards 2023 ‘Slot of the Year’ – Sugar Rush, and the EGR B2B 2023 ‘Casino Software Supplier of the Year’ awards this year.
