We recently published an article about the offcial opening of the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI).
- To date, there has been no mention of banning overseas casinos under the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), Curacao Gaming Control Board (GCB), or Anjouan Gaming Authority.
- As with most other new licensing authorities, we don't expect cryptocurrency to become available as a payment (yet we can neither confirm nor deny this point at this time).
What are your thoughts?
- What are your thoughts on the new licensing authority coming it the Republic of Ireland?
- Will you play at GRAI casinos, or will you continue to play or bet at online casinos or sports books under the MGA, GCB, and Anjouan licensing?

Not a surprise, Ireland is copying the UK system. The feeling is mutual. The governments and their online gambling industries are so intertwined. I think if players have a choice to play at an Irish casino or one of the MGA or Curacao ones, it will be fantasic martket with freedom of choice.

Regulation is always good, but if they follow too closely to the UK, I can see people sticking with MGA casinos. Let's see how it pans out.
