The 2023 Global Gaming Awards (GGA 2023) have released the full list of winners for this year’s event. 16 winners from 16 awards were announced, with silver and bronze podium positions, giving you 48 iGaming, sports betting, payment, and tech companies awarded for service excellence and expertise.

It was a big day for award wins as the IGA 2023 event was also in action on the same evening as the GGA 2023 awards ceremony.

Not only were both events on the same day, but they were also in the same city, just a few tube (London Underground) stops away from each other in London’s prestigious West End. The IGA was held at London’s Savoy hotel while the GGA was in Leicester Square at The Hippodrome Casino – ironically, by the winners of the land-based casino of the year award!

Other standout winners were a mixed bag of online casino and sports betting operators, iGaming software providers, and casino payment providers. At the same time, there was also an ‘Executive of the Year’ award and the land-based casino sector. And many of the gold, silver, and bronze winners are no strangers to winning awards.

LeoVegas, Relax Gaming, IGT, Trustly, AstroPay, Paysafe, The Hippodrome Casino, SOFTSWISS, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Novomatic, Yggdrasil Gaming. Greentube and many more. Overall, it was a stellar list of brands lined up in the shortlists right from the get-go.

There was plenty of competition for each of the award categories, with many big-name brands not making it to the podium despite winning major awards in other events in 2022. That’s just the way these awards ceremonies go. However, just making it as a shortlisted nominee amongst the hundreds of competitors for each category is still an achievement in itself.
