Wazdan, the leading iGaming development company that recently released the fantastic Power of Gods™: Valhalla Slot, is again back in the news. This time it is due to two new strategic iGaming content partnerships and for receiving well-deserved recognition at the 2022 North America SBC Awards. Wazdan is a company that has consistently grown and evolved since established twelve years ago in 2010.
Over the years, the firm has been a nominee for numerous awards at industry events such as the EGR B2B Awards, SBC Awards, Europe Gaming Awards, and the MiGEA Awards. Just recently, the developer even landed two awards at the 2022 BSG Awards.
However, you do not get much bigger than the SBC Awards, and this year Wazdan walked away with the silver award in the ‘Rising Star in Casino’ category. While the firm missed out on the full award which went to Digital Gaming Corporation, earning the runner-up award against a flurry of competition just shows how well regarded Wazdan is in North American iGaming markets.
We know how popular the brand is across Europe too, so it is no surprise to see that Wazdan has earned two nominations for the upcoming SBC Awards that will now take place in Barcelona this September. Wazdan has earned nominations in both the ‘Casino / Slots Developer of the Year’ and ‘Innovation in Mobile’ categories. While the firm is up against plenty of competition, nobody could complain if Wazdan walked away with both or at least one of those awards.
Commenting on this latest achievement, Andrzej Hyla, Wazdan’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated:
We’re very honoured and proud to have won the Silver Winner Award at the 2022 North American SBC Awards. We’re so happy to receive such recognition from such a prestigious awards ceremony. This award shows the impressive momentum that we are building up in the North American region. Of course, we also want to congratulate all other winners at the SBC Awards in North America.
Wazdan Strengthens in Europe and North America via Two New Content Partnerships
As further evidence of Wazdan’s continued rise in the iGaming arena, the firm has recently struck a couple of content partnerships. The first of these is with Ruby Seven Studios, an operator that runs the popular Ruby social casino in the US. The casino can now offer its customers access to Wazdan’s full portfolio of casino games, including recent releases such as 9 Coins™ and Sizzling Eggs™.
Ruby Casino is an award-winning social casino that delivers free-to-play casino content to residents in Nevada. Wazdan’s portfolio will now appear alongside titles from other leading developers, including Aristocrat and Konami. This deal, alongside similar with Rush Street Interactive and Light & Wonder, is further evidence of the strong foothold that Wazdan now has in the US. The firm has already secured licenses to operate in the West Virginia, New Jersey, and Michigan markets, which means residents in those states will get to enjoy the quality titles that Wazdan offers.
While Wazdan obviously has a strong focus on the US iGaming markets at the moment, it does not mean it is not thinking about expansion elsewhere. The iGaming developer has recently signed a partnership deal with SoccerBet in Serbia. SoccerBet is one of the top two operators in the country and now players will get to enjoy Wazdan’s superb range of casino titles. This deal follows the completion of other recent partnerships in Europe with the likes of Casino Lugano, BetOlimp, and the Napolean Sports & Casino.
Marko Jovanovic, SoccerBet’s Product Manager, had this to say on the new partnership with Wazdan:
We’re delighted that our customers can now play the exciting and innovative titles developed by Wazdan. We’re sure that these titles will all strike a chord with our loyal player base.
