As we approach the festive period and the end of the year, the 2021 SBC Awards has once again some of the iGaming industry’s strongest performers throughout the year. The awards ceremony, which took place at Evolution London, welcomed 500 guests, all of which attended to witness which online casinos and sports betting sites, casino games developers, affiliates, and payment solutions would win the 43 awards on offer.

Among the biggest winners was Pragmatic Play, who took down the Casino Slots Developer of the Year. This is an iGaming development company that, despite being among the most prolific, does not compromise quality in favour of quantity. Pragmatic Play develops at least five new titles each month, whether that be innovative video slots or cutting edge live casino games.

Just this week, the firm has released the excellent Crystal Caverns Megaways slot, while other new titles launched in the past week or so include Smugglers Cove, and Book of Fallen. Pragmatic Play even had the time to release its latest live casino title, the fantastic Sweet Bonanza CandyLind live gameshow! Although the firm took down one of the evening’s biggest awards, it was not the only one that had something to celebrate. There was a total of 43 awards handed out in a little over an hour starting at 6pm on the 14th of December. There were online casinos vying for some big awards, while other development companies still had the chance to pick up some awards.

The 2021 SBC Awards have now run for 8 years and this ceremony is renowned as one of the most illustrious in the iGaming industry. Held annually, it attracts representatives from most leading iGaming companies, as they hope to land awards that will provide an enormous boost to their reputations in an industry that is as competitive as ever.

Swinnt Among the Other Notable 2021 SBC Award Winners

Swintt is an iGaming developer that seems to have come out of nowhere. When you think about it, it has, as the company only launched in 2019. It is when you look at the experience of those at the top that you realise why. This is a company headed by guys that have worked in senior positions for firms, including Microgaming, NYX, William Hill, and Wazdan. They claim to have a combined 100 years of iGaming experience between them. The company is climbing the ranks incredibly fast, so it is no surprise to see the firm win the Rising Star in Casino Innovation / Software Award. Swintt already has over 60 slot games in its portfolio, but that number is increasing fast. Plus, the firm has made the crossover into live casino games in recent months too!

Speaking of live games, there were some notable winners from that side of the iGaming industry too. Evolution won the Live Casino Supplier of the Year Award for the third year running and the innovation in Casino Entertainment Award, while BetConstruct took down the Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year Award. Other mentions should go to EvoPlay, the joint winner of the Leader of the Year Award alongside the Yolo Group and Sportradar, and Trustly, who came out on top to win the Payment Solution of the Year Award.

Why not check out what Swintt has to offer? It’s understandable if you do not know too much about Swintt. However, after pocketing this SBC Award, you’ll probably want to see what all the fuss is about. Well, we think you should check out some of the excellent titles this firm has already released. For one, take a look at the superb Wild West Lone Rider XtraWays title that offers up to 262,144 ways to win!
