jackpot report week 42

In our Jackpot Report Week 42, you will learn of not one but two big jackpot wins within the last week! (Image from relax-gaming.com)

Writing this weekly jackpot report is sometimes like waiting for a bus. You wait weeks for one big jackpot win and then two come along at once. As you saw in our last report, it has been a quiet few weeks until now. Neither of these latest payouts is the biggest in a comparative sense, but they are 7-figure sums, which is hardly loose change to most people.

First, and although we do not know the specific date of the win, Relax Gaming has announced that its Dream Drop Mega Jackpot has recently paid out for the fourth time. On this occasion, it was a life-changing €1,457,820.74 that one lucky punter scooped. That occurred on the Dream Drop Diamonds progressive slot, the iGaming developers recently released jackpot title. That payout also becomes the largest since the network first went live in March this year.

On top of that was a £1,140,086 win on the MegaJackpots network from IGT. That happened last Sunday and was the first time it had paid out in about six months. Again, while that win is not the most prolific compared to what we see from the likes of the WowPot and Mega Moolah networks, it is still above the payout average of the MegaJackpots series.

Fun Fact: The Dream Drop progressive jackpot network has now created over 1 million individual winners across its Rapid, Midi, Maxi, Major, and Mega jackpots.

A Look at the Current Status of Other Major Progressive Jackpots

Each of those aforementioned jackpots will now reset, so it is probably not the best time to play either. That is despite the MegaJackpots having already grown to over £500k in such a short space of time. Instead, use the table that accompanies this article to see how the other jackpots are looking right now. It gives you some insight in terms of the average payouts and the frequency of wins. It also tells you how long it has been since each jackpot has paid out and its current size.

Sitting at the top is the Jackpot Giant slot from Playtech. However, I often ask myself if it will ever pay out again. We are talking 1,142 days now! Both the WowPot and Mega Moolah networks from Microgaming have grown to look healthy so might be worth a punt. Aside from those, you have Hall of Gods and Mega Fortune (two legendary jackpot slots) from the Evolution-owned NetEnt that could payout at any time. Plus, Microgaming’s King Cashalot is another that I feel is due to pay in the near future.
