The weekend is almost here, and that means many of you will spend some spare time spinning away on some jackpot slots over the next few days. Well, the good news is that many of the progressive jackpots have not paid out in the last seven days. They are now bigger than before and ready for one of us to jump in and claim them!

There was one notable winner during the week, however. One lucky punter in Ireland managed to scoop the third Mega Jackpot win on Relax Gaming’s new Dream Drop progressive jackpot network. Playing on the Betsafe online casino, that player won €1,486,291.47 when spinning away on the Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop slot. That is a bigger payout than the €924k a player won the last time around.

Relax Gaming launched the Dream Drop progressive jackpot network at the start of May and since then it has paid out 820,000+ individual jackpots across its Rapid, Midi , Maxi, Major, and Mega jackpots. Ironically, this most recent winner scooped his life-changing win on the first slot to feature the Dream Drop jackpot. Since Temple Tumble 2 was launched, Relax Gaming has released at least four other slots with that jackpot feature. The most recent of those was Neko Night Dream Drop. Other titles include TNT Tumble, Snake Arena, Wild Chapo, and Volatile Vikings 2. The firm also plans to release many more before the end of 2022.

Commenting on this win, Phil Lam of the Betsson Group, said: “It’s made one lucky player in Ireland very happy, and we can’t wait to see what comes next from Relax Gaming!”

A Look at the Current State of the Other Progressive Jackpots

As mentioned at the start of this post, there have not been any other significant wins this week. That is great news for the rest of us as it means there is more for us to win (should we get that lucky, of course). Playtech’s Jackpot Giant remains the biggest at €6.6 million but that has not paid in over 3 years.

The best to go for is probably the Mega Moolah, as that pays out every 45 days on average and it has been 75 days since somebody won the Mega jackpot. It currently sits at £5 million, which is not to be sniffed at. It is probably worth avoiding the WowPot for now, Microgaming’s other major progressive jackpot. That progressive network paid out just a month ago, so it is probably too early to start playing that one.

If you do not mind aiming for comparatively smaller jackpot payouts, then King Cashalot, Gladiator, and MegaJackpots are good options. As for the others, they could payout but historical data suggests is perhaps too early for them at this point.
