Our Jackpot Report Week 30

Our jackpot report week 30 brings news of a £14.1m WowPot Mega Payout – the second largest since the creation of this jackpot network! (Image from Tumisu at pixabay.com)

It was bound to happen eventually, and while it would have been nice to see the WowPot reach record numbers, it has at least made somebody a millionaire many multiple times over. It paid out yesterday to the tune of €10,947,353.68!

The WowPot slot, the bet made, and the platform the win came from are so far unclear, but somebody somewhere is celebrating a life-changing win.

That makes it the fourth WowPot Mega Jackpot win since the popular progressive jackpot launched in February 2020. The first Mega jackpot winner was established in April 2021 when they won a payout of £15,183,085.

However, just to show how random progressive jackpot networks can be, the next jackpot was paid just six days later. When jackpots are paid, Microgaming seeds that jackpot with another £2 million. With just a few days since that huge payout, another player scooped the Mega WowPot for just (comparatively) £2,025,388. Then, just a few months later, it was won for a third time, this time for £3,988,637.

This latest WowPot payout might not be big enough to beat the very first, but it is at least the second-largest jackpot payout in 2022 so far. It sits behind the £12,792,841 Mega Moolah jackpot win recorded in May. The amazing thing about this win is how quickly the Wowpot has already grown since paying yesterday. From that £2 million seed, the jackpot has already grown to £5,080,886, making it the second largest progressive jackpot in our table below!

Stats massively changes: We have now updated the accompanying table below to show an accurate payout frequency and average jackpot sum. With this latest win calculated, the WowpPot pays out every 156 days on average while the average Mega Jackpot win is £8,832,151.

The Status of Other Progressives in Our Jackpot Report Week 30

With the big news out of the way, it is time to see what jackpots are left for the rest of us to win. Well, as mentioned, the WowPot is still worth playing, considering how quickly it has grown. As for the other options, the next obvious is the Jackpot Giant slot from Playtech. For now, it has the biggest jackpot of the lot at €6,604,511. As it has not paid in over 1,000 days, I would still sway towards the WowPot instead. King Cashalot, Gladiator, and Mega Fortune are the others worth a look at. All the rest are not near their average frequencies and jackpot sums as of yet. Still, that does not mean they will or cannot payout!
