Many people have been swept up in the hype surrounding the metaverse, and while companies like Facebook and Google claim that it will replace the internet someday, some critics point out that this concept is simply a marketing gimmick.
While the metaverse it may be a marketing tactic for these companies, iGaming companies are legitimately investing in the creation of VR casino games, and should the metaverse become reality, well a virtual reality, brands like NetEnt, Playtech, and Entain will already be ready for the new shift to VR gambling.
