The twists and turns of the iGaming market are constant with new deals, new markets, and new licensing agreements rarely a problem to find on the industry’s newswires. Today we bring you 3 news stories from 4 brands that continue to expand their global market reach.

In our previous partnership agreement report, we saw Pragmatic Play partner with Bet365, the winner of the ‘Best Affiliate Program’, and ‘Best Mobile Operator App’ at the SBC 2021, and the ‘Sportsbook of the Year’ award winner in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Of course, Pragmatic Play is no stranger to awards either recently winning the ‘Live Casino of the Year’ award at the IGA 2022, Game of the year for Gates of Olympus at the EGR Operators Awards in 2021 and the ‘RNG Casino Supplier of the Year’ at the IGA 2021.

We also saw Push Gaming enter the Ontario iGaming market, something 1×2 Gaming has also just achieved, which I will cover below. Plus, that report covered EGT Interactive Strengthens in South America.

This week’s report: In this week’s report, we look at Kalamba Gaming joining the hugely popular and award-winning 888Casino brand, Inspired Gaming making a deal to roll out virtual sports and casino games in Pennsylvania, as well as 1×2 Gaming gaining an iGaming Ontario (iGO) licence.

Kalamba Software Provider Joins 888Casino Considerably Expanding its Reach

For the time being, Kalamba Games has a Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licence. However, this could change after the software provider recently penned a deal with 888Casino, one of the largest brands in the business, and one that is about to take over the full non-US William Hill operations. That deal will make 888 Holdings, one of the largest iGaming and sports betting companies in the world.

For Kalamba Games, this is a solid deal. As 888Casino operates in the USA’s New Jersey iGaming market, is now licenced and operating on the Ontario iGaming scene, holds a UKGC licence to operate in the UK market, and is also licenced under the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), giving the brand reach into countries that currently do not require online casinos to operate under a domestic licence. 888Casino also holds several domestic iGaming and sports betting licences across the globe.

888Casino Review: You can check out the full scope of exactly what 888Casino has to offer via our online casino review here. The classic 888 online gambling platform offers 888Casino, 888Poker, and 888Sports, and will soon be operating land-based operations via William Hill. Current brands available at the casino include 888 Exclusive games, Microgaming, Playtech, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Play ‘Go, and Pragmatic Play.

Inspired Entertainment Enters Pennsylvania iGaming Market

In the USA, Pennsylvania has just become the largest iGaming market. For the first time, the state overtook New Jersey’s revenue which happened last month in March 2022. It is the perfect market for big brand names to enter and Inspired Gaming recently announced it now has a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) licence to offer its games to online casinos operating in the state.

Inspired Entertainment is known for a range of sports betting, online slots, and virtual gaming titles. Its main achievements in the online gambling market surround the firm’s awards related to virtual sports. For example, It won the ‘Virtual Sports Innovation’ award at the SBC Awards 2020, the ‘Virtual sports Supplier’ award at the EGR B2B in 2019, and was the runner-up for the ‘Best Virtual Football Product’ at the SBC Awards 2019.

Its slots portfolio is probably the area most Casino Plus Bonus fans are familiar with. Anubis Wild Megaways, The Musketeers, Reel King, Reel Linking, and Reel King Megaways via its Inspired Gaming brand. If you also play land-based arcade video slots, you may have also come across the Centurion Free Spins Slot, which is also available at Inspired Gaming online casinos, along with its sequel title Centurion Megaways.

About Inspired Entertainment: The company is also highly regarded in the retail sports market with 50,000+ land-based gambling machines spread across betting shops, gaming halls, pubs, and other retail/land-based establishments.

1×2 Gaming gains iGaming Ontario (iGO) Licence to Supply Online Casinos in the Province

Another well-known software provider, 1×2 Gaming, is another leader in the virtual sports betting industry, and a prominent video slot supplier. And many of these game titles will now be making their way over to Canada via online casinos operating in the province of Ontario.

The deal follows a recent expansion into Greece and Denmark last year. Some of the brand’s most well-known game titles include Coin Vault, Van Helsing’s Book of the Undead, Whisker Jones, Battle Maidens Cleopatra, Pirate Amada, Under the Waves, and Sherlock’s Case Book.

Currently, there are close to 30 online casinos operating under the iGaming Ontario (iGO) licence, all of which can now form a B2B partnership with 1×2 Gaming to host the game developer’s portfolio. It’s great news for the casinos because it means they can add diversity to their platforms, something that the iGaming market in Ontario is currently lacking.

Other software providers with B2B partnership deals with iGaming Ontario (iGO) licensing include Play’n GO, Light & Wonder (Scientific Games), Evolution, Pariplay, Quickspin, Blueprint Gaming, Relax Gaming, Microgaming, 1×2 Gaming, and Push Gaming.

Round up: 1×2 Gaming video slots, virtual table games, and virtual sports game titles will now be available to the growing list of Canadian online casinos operating out of the country’s brand-new Ontario iGaming market.
