Welcome to our first-ever review of the Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) Slot Awards Show. Finally, an event that focuses purely on games and their performance.
It is nice to mix things up again and have casino games as the focus of such an event. And this particular round of awards focuses on land-based slot cabinets and slot titles as well as online slots, RNG table games and live casino titles.
It has a bit of everything, and many of the slot titles from the land-based portion we do not see online even though the software developers also have iGaming development studios.
IGT, Aristocrat, Greentube, Playtech, Ainsworth, Everi, Inspired and many more software provider names you will see on our land-based arcade slots review.
With all this goodness covering coming from an event that covers casino games, I am ashamed to admit that this is indeed the first time I have covered the EKG 2023 Slot Awards. Even more damning is the fact that this year’s event is on edition five. Well, let’s hope finally including it in our regular round of casino awards media coverage makes up for missing the previous ones!
When & where is the event? 23 February at the Aria Resort & Casino, Las Vegas between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm. There are 25 awards categories split into 3 sections ‘Land-Based’, ‘Social Casino’ and ‘iGaming’.
