2023 EGR Nordics Awards Shortlists Revealed – Playtech, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, and More Up for Awards!

One thing is certain, February is going to be a hectic month in terms of iGaming awards and industry exhibitions. For the former, coming our way is the 2023 edition of the International Gaming Awards, Global Gaming Awards, EKG Slot Awards, and the EGR Nordics Awards.

It is the latter we are reporting on today as the 2023 EGR Nordics Awards has released its shortlists for each of its 17 award categories. The ceremony will celebrate the most successful and innovative iGaming companies operating in the Nordics region. The top-performing operators, suppliers, platforms, and affiliates operating in this iGaming market will earn the recognition they deserve for their performances in the past year.

This year, the EGR Nordics Awards will debut a new feature. For the four headline categories, Operator of the Year, Employer of the Year, Casino Content Supplier of the Year, and Affiliate of the Year, there are now three awards. Companies will win Gold, Silver, or Bronze awards in each of those categories.

This report will take you through each category so that you can see some of the names up for honours. Just to give you a taste, Playtech, LeoVegas, Soft2Bet, Casumo, and Quickspin are among the names competing for awards this time around. Yggdrasil is also up for the Casino Content Supplier of the Year, an award the firm won at the 2022 EGR Nordics Awards.

2023 EGR Nordics Awards – Date and Location: The award ceremony will take place at the Corinthia St George’s Bay Hotel on the 23rd of February. Hosted by Irish comedian Keith Farnan, the night of entertainment, laughter, and awards will kick off at 6pm local time and run until 11pm.

Who Will Take Down the Casino Content Supplier Award?

Most iGaming fans will have their favourite software developer’s so this is a category that attracts a lot of attention. As mentioned, Yggdrasil took down this award last time around.

However, when you check out the full list of nominations, the popular development company might not find it so easy this time. The category if full of massive iGaming brands renowned for creating amazing casino content ranging from slots, live casino games, and virtual table games.
